Divine. I have been trying to call Ronald but he doesn't answer my calls. Ronald never misses my calls unless his into deep shit or his getting himself into trouble. I remember when it was a early Sunday morning. He left me sleeping without saying a word. when I wake up, he was gone. I tried to calling but he didn't answer. Back then, my mind told me to stop calling. Hence I thought maybe he had a meeting with one of his clients. Boy, I was wrong.

Nora said “That’s true, I think it’s best we call Melody and tell her about the situation here,” Lyon said before he brought out his phone and dialed her number. “She’s not answering the call,” he said immediately call cut off “Call her again” He tried calling the number again but it wasn’t reachable “Damn it, her number is always unreachable” he yelled “It might be network issues, you should try calling her later” Nora uttered “Damn! It’s not network fault ” Lyon yelled

Jaden asked with a smile. "No... But hopefully, he will do that before the day runs out." One of them replied to him. "Before the day runs out? So, I'm supposed to be here all day?" Jaden sounds surprised. "Not at all... If he calls early, then it's fine if you answer it and go!" One of the securities says. "What if he doesn't call early?" Jaden was curious. "It's left to you to decide whether you will wait for his call, or leave it till next time. But we are always here, 24/7!"

“Where the hell are you?” I bring out my phone from the pocket of my coat and dial Cathy again. When I hear the phone ring inside the apartment and see it on the coffee table, panic begins to swell inside me. Like everyone else I know, Cathy would never go anywhere without her phone, so to see her phone lying around untended while she is nowhere to be found is alarming.

I just came back from my doctor's appointment. I tried calling Nicolas so many times so he could accompany me, but he never answered. The one time he answered, he snapped at me, telling me not to call him again. With a heavy heart and feeling lonely, I completed my check-up.

The shameless duo didn’t even know I was there, watching them misbehave. “Hello… B? Are you still there?” I heard Thea’s voice sound from the phone repeatedly, distracting me a little. I had forgotten I was still on call with her. I had even forgotten my phone existed. “Why the sudden blackout? Is everything okay…?...Are you alright over there?”

Not a single phone call or text in months. “What the fuck?” I growl, dialing the number. The automated voice on the other end says the person you are trying to reach is unavailable. This just got twice as fucking difficult.

The anxiety that something has happened to Alexander threatens to overwhelm me. Stepping away from the kitchen to maintain the illusion that everything is fine, I look again at the unanswered calls in my history. The growing list of failed attempts stares back at me, each missed connection heightening my unease. My thumb hovers over the button to dial again. Where is he? Is he okay?

Unless there was a problem. "The number you have tried is unreachable at the moment, please try again later," the operator's voice said robotically. The frown deepened. Unreachable? Was this because of their location? Emily wondered as she tried to call again, but this time, the call didn't even ring before disconnecting. "Do you want a touch of vanilla, babe?" Adam called from the kitchen. "Wha-" emily looked up, lost. Then she nodded. "Oh yes, thank you."
