~Elena~ "Welcome, my future Luna." The words barely had time to settle before Crystal stiffened like she’d been struck. The air froze. Then— "Excuse me?" she snapped, voice like a blade, sharp and cold. Trevor turned, unreadable, but Crystal was already seething. "I am the future Luna," she spat, her fingers digging into Ryan’s arm like claws. "Not her." Her gaze burned into Trevor’s, daring him to challenge her. Daring him to argue.

“Positive Alpha.” “Let’s see if we can lose them.” Noah growls, taking another turning trying to rejoin the highway. I pull my phone out and try to use the satnav to find a quicker route back to the highway. We’ve never turned off in this area before and are finding the roads endless diversions. “Now?” Noah asks through the mind-link including the warriors. “Still there beta, you’ll have to put your foot down unless you want us to intercept?”

"Nothing, I just caught it on the car door when I was getting out. Why are you so nosy anyway?" "Serious? That looks nasty," Noah said, reaching for her hand. "Drop it, Noah! You’re annoying!" Lona snapped, startling him. "I’m not in the mood. Go back to your own class." After Noah left looking totally confused, Lona drifted back into her thoughts. Her mind raced back to that moment in the car. She imagined what would have happened if Revan hadn't stopped at her thigh. She pictured those large hands exploring the rest of her with that same ruthless edge.

I was surprised to realise he'd come over to talk to me and not Alpha Bain. "I apologise that I haven't introduced myself yet. He summed up whilst bowing his head in a gesture of respect.

I am smarter. I clicked on the 'receive' icon and a blonde man appeared on the screen. "Oh, I am sorry. You are not Beta Marcus." He said. I rested on the couch with my laptop on my desk. "Of course. That's because I am the Luna and I am the real dealer and not Marcus. Marcus was just a substitute then." I made him understand. "Oh, you are the Luna. I am sorry your highness." He apologized. "It's fine. I assume you didn't know."

All the men were staring at me head to toe, some even whistled. Hayden let out a warning growl, telling them not to stare at his mate. I walked down and took Hayden's hand. "Stunning." He whispered to me. I blushed. "Today we are here to present my mate, Annabel Ferrars, as the new Luna. " He turned to face me. "Annabel Ferrars. Will you sacrifice yourself to protect your pack?" "I will." "Will you uphold your title as Luna and do your duties with pride?"

“The baby wants you!!” Charlotte stopped sipping her wine. She was now staring into nothing. Thankfully my beta came into the scene and took her away. “Now who was that?” Riley asked. “Mmmm…she tugged on Nicholas' shirt and called his name affectionately. Do you need a prophet to tell you who she is?” Luna Chloe replied Riley. They had just met, they did not even know each other prior to this but gossip had already united them. “Oooohh…” Riley howled. My brother, Landon, shook his head.

“You always get that look on your face when you are.” I rolled my eyes lightly, but didn’t argue. The room I stayed in was smaller than what I had been used to in Ironcrest, but it didn’t feel lacking. If anything, it felt… lighter and Less suffocating with no expectations and no watchful eyes. No constant reminders of who I was supposed to be. It was just me, and just us. “I was just thinking about how quiet it is here,” I said. Damon hummed softly. “You’ll get used to it.”
