It was warm. Not the sharp urgent warmth of the tower flame or the pulsing heat of my wrist mark in moments of high feeling. Something older and quieter than that. The warmth of something that had been waiting in a dark place for a very long time and was simply relieved, in a way that had no urgency left in it, to finally be found. I opened it. --- The first page had no chapter heading. No introduction. No author named. Just a single line, written in ink so dark it was nearly black, in handwriting that was small and careful and had the particular quality of someone who wrote as though every word cost something and was therefore worth spending precisely:

I said. "Good," he said. "Send it when you have the first draft." "I always do," I said. I hung up, opened a new document, and began writing. Outside, January moved through its morning, patient and unhurried. The work continued.

"I didn't know I was doing that." "That's why it works," Elian said. "If you were trying to give me perspective it would be editorial. Because you're just — present, and interested, and structurally minded, the perspective arrives without effort." He paused. "You're the novel's best reader and you haven't read it yet." "I've heard sections," Dante said. "Sections are different from the full thing," Elian said. "The full thing—" He paused. "When the first draft is done. I want you to read the full thing. Tell me what it actually is."

***** In order not to leave you with the expectation of the next book that has yet to be accepted, in the meantime I decided to publish the first chapters here. I hope this new story will fascinate you as much as the original! It'll be very, very different, with every chapter, and I'm really excited to let you follow them. As you can see the novel is with it’s first draft and I’m trying to make the editing, polishing and changes in the plot but it will take me like two days max to wind up all that. I have already made the changes but it has to be approved by the Editor so it will take two days. They only work on Weekdays and today is Saturday. Another thing is that I’m grateful for the time you are spending in reading my creation. It’s my first time writing anything and I hope that you enjoy reading it as I have enjoyed writing it.

Dear Reader Thank you for reading the first chapter of the book called, Sins Of My Body. Sins Of My Body was originally written as an Interactive Story Game. I am in the process of adapting it into a novel form. The original version contains a great deal of dialogue to fit the platform for which it was intended. So a such a long time after completing it and writung other books after if I thought of typing because it was in an exercise book and U hope you'll like it . Even though I think It did have some lacking here and there I edited some of the first chapters from the original that I had and I hope it will do. So happy reading. I can say that my characters seem more real now than they were in the first draft. 3️⃣ Question 3 - Can you say you have grown as a writer while writing this story? Compare to the first draft and this version, I have grown tremendously. There were so many things I know now that I didn't while writing the first draft. This story is like my first baby. There are so few views, now that Goodnovel provided me a platform, but I am more than happy to continue this story and perhaps, make it my first completed novel. So now allow me to talk about the novel itself. I have talked to my editor about it and I came to know that my first few chapters are quite odd. The beginning chapter itself barely had any conversation. Well… To be honest, it can’t be helped since I wrote it on my first attempt in writing. I have no background. No experience. I read. I read. I read a ton. I was very smug about my memory since I could remember all sorts of details from hundreds of chapters back.
