The Househusband Said Enough

The Househusband Said Enough

The sink was crammed with dishes, the air sour and stale. She wasn't the radiant Janet anymore. Just a lonely, unkempt old woman who couldn't manage on her own. Gray streaks took over her hair. Her clothes hadn't been washed in forever. Yesterday, the electricity shut off. That night, every other apartment glowed. Hers stayed dark. She stood there realizing she had no clue how to top up the utility card. In the pitch-black apartment, she felt her way to the bedroom and slammed into the wardrobe. Only after Harlan disappeared did it hit her—order didn't happen by magic. A clean, quiet home took work. Constant work.

Ruined by my Bully Stepbrother

Ruined by my Bully Stepbrother

Now Emily's clothes hung in the closet where my mother's dresses used to be. The Henderson mansion sat on two acres in the nicest part of Brooklyn. Three stories. Eight bedrooms. A pool in the back. It was obscene for two people. But Richard liked showing off his wealth. Liked reminding everyone that he was Beta. Second in command. Powerful. I pulled the truck into the circular driveway. Dora stared up at the house with wide eyes. She had only been here once before for a dinner party. Seeing it as her new home was clearly overwhelming. "Come on. I will show you to your room."

Lycans of Lunar Isle

Lycans of Lunar Isle

Ophelia We drove in silence to Nova’s house, which turned out to be a cream-colored villa just a few neighborhoods over. A sand-stone driveway, lined with neatly trimmed shrubs, circled the place. Pillars that gleamed beneath the setting sun stood in clusters around the patio, and within the villa itself. Gaping windows trimmed with gold showed a perfect view inside. Where Lucille’s place was cold and sterile, this one was brimming with warmth. Nova led me into her bedroom, which was easily the size of a modest apartment, and to a closet large enough to fit a pack of wolves.

I’ve read lots of supernatural books but this one is the best I’ve read! It’s got little bit of everything, it deserves way more recognition than it has gotten. Jane out did herself with these last two new books . Extremely talented writer. Give this book a shot you won’t regret it.

HOUSE OF WITCHES

HOUSE OF WITCHES

“His name is Edmond Michael,” Janeka said, mimicking her mother. “The most powerful warlock. He who destroys and takes life as though it were his creation.” “We’re here.” Freya said interrupting the girls who were busy giggling at the impersonation. They had just moved into Weston Hills, a whole new environment and a fresh start. As Hayley pulled her bags out of the trunk she looked over at the house. A middle-class convenient structure with a lush green lawn and daisy bushes that hugged the white picket fence around it which opened up to the stone path leading straight to the front door, it was the limit to Freya’s savings from her part-time job, not much but Hayley had a feeling she was go

The Alpha king’s Mate Is A Hunter (BxB)

The Alpha king’s Mate Is A Hunter (BxB)

Sadly not yet. After an hour driving, we arrived in a gated community with beautiful luxurious houses at both sides. “Wow! The area is so fine!” Mom spoke out exactly what was on my mind. We soon arrived at our house. “The Hudson family” is written on the mailbox. They must have really prepared for our arrival. The house was a mighty two story building which I personally think it’s a little too big for us. The house's exterior has a contemporary outline with white painting and huge glass windows.

The Werewolf Curse

The Werewolf Curse

Stephen said, pointing at a small house by a corner, far off in the woods. “A house in the woods? That’s rather odd,” Amanda said. She didn’t want to go in there but Stephen managed to convince her. “Actually, you wanted an easy pass, that’s it. It’s in the house. Now, let’s hurry before someone gets there before us. Amanda was happy that the stupid game would soon come to an end and she’d be free from Stephen. Little did she know that it was only the beginning of his plan. They walked into the house, or precisely, the bedroom. That was the only room in the house. The house didn’t look as old as expected, in fact, it was new, like it was built thee a few months ago.

The Sickened Luna's Last Chance

The Sickened Luna's Last Chance

The original Stormhollow estate had burned up, so Lilith had no choice but to try the new house that Richard had bought for Margaret; it was far more than they could have afforded before given their financial situation, but the insurance payout had allowed them to purchase a nice mansion overlooking Stormhollow. A bitter feeling washed over Lilith as she approached the house. It was so luxurious; meanwhile, Stormhollow, the pack that was meant to be Lilith’s, was rapidly falling into disrepair. The people were in poverty, and meanwhile, Richard and his new wife were living it up in a beautiful manor with pristine gardens. Despite the beautiful home, though, there was little in the way of sec

Once a Doormat, Now Untouchable

Once a Doormat, Now Untouchable

He gave Penelope a cold glance and ordered, "Stay in the car. You don't need to come inside." Her pregnancy had begun to show, and if anyone noticed and started asking questions, it would humiliate the entire Hampton family. Before Penelope could respond, the Hutton housekeeper appeared at the entrance. "Mr. Hampton, Madan Hampton, please come in." Caleb had no choice but to follow, the two women trailing behind him into the grand Hutton estate. Brimcrest and Jouleston were not far apart, and the great families of both cities had always maintained close ties. Florence and Adeline had met several times before, so their conversation flowed easily.

so far I love how strong Sydney is and all she needs now is the devoted man to make everything else set in stone. she doesn't need a man but her having one completely devoted to her will make this story perfect, but it is really good so far.

This book needs to pick up speed. One chapter a day is slow to say the least. Not to mention that new story lines are constantly being added without completely ending older stories and developed characters seem to disappear. Is this an author issue or an app issue to secure reader subscriptions?

Her Return : The Billionaire's Contract Wife

Her Return : The Billionaire's Contract Wife

Nova When the car pulled through the gates, I took a moment to breathe. When I walked in, I kept my head high. The Ashford residence was everything I expected it to be. Marble floors, vaulted ceilings, the kind of luxury that didn’t need to announce itself because it simply existed. When I walked into the living room, Camille was already waiting. “Nova, sweetie, you made it,” she said, hugging me. “I did.” I sat straight backed in the drawing room, contract neatly arranged before me, reminding myself this was business. A deal. Nothing more.
