I heard her inhale and exhale and then she calmly waved me goodbye and ended the call. Walking my peanut butter to the sitting room, I picked up my laptop and turned it on, quickly loading up my Microsoft app. My gaze dripped to the word count and I felt a split surge of surprise mixed with panic at the number of words that were staring back at me. I'd thought I'd written more than that. It took me a while to get back into my character's headspace but my fingers typed away after I had achieved that feat. I'd added more than three thousand words by the time I became a little spent. And my sandwich had remained untouched through it all.

Hi there, readers! I have a question I would like to ask all of you. If you've read any of my previous books, you'll note that my chapters aren't really that long. I've wanted to keep these chapters in short bursts like I did with Nikolai and Dimitri's book, but I am finding that there's just too much happening with Umiko and Fenriz that it is impossible to keep the chapters short. The reason why I used to keep my chapters below 2k words is because the more words I write per chapter, the more you pay to unlock them.

Dear Reader, I really hope you enjoyed this 42-chapter story that spun for over three months on Goodnovel and sadly but gloriously it has come to an end. An end that I believe I delivered quite well, having penned the final words of this story. The idea to develop it actually began way back in 2017 when I was still in high school and I'm finally glad to have been able to craft it much to everybody's liking. Blurting out my feelings into words. And those nights...amazingly what pain could do. .... how I was able to create a 200 thousand word count novel within a short span of weeks I took a deep breath before handing out the hardcopy of my novel to the organizer of the writing contest. This means that my chapters, about 22-27 coins, are twice as long as the average chapter of other stories. I write between 7,000-11,000 words every week for this story, so this averages out to about equal to or more than other stories. It takes me 3-5 hours to write one chapter. As I cannot add more hours to my day, I will not update more often

Being able to explore my characters through their own points of view was an eye opening experience, and I hoped you loved tuning into Dalton, Kendra, and Jake's thoughts just as much as the lead's, Hollis and Whitney's. Despite this book taking five months to write, a month less than two of my other novels, "Not All Who Wander Are Lost" is by far my longest book, nearing 600 pages. I couldn't avoid it since there was so much I wanted to cover, and there are no regrets.

Hello guys. So I've seen some complaints about me updating only once a day and I just want to clarify something. I write very long chapters. Some of my chapters can go up to 2800 words. And while other authors would rather divide that word count into two, I chose to publish it at once because of the cost of chapters on the app nowadays.
