The Forgotten - Book One of the Chronicles of Faynon

The Forgotten - Book One of the Chronicles of Faynon

Draynon nodded and opened the book. He leafed through the book until he found the chapter that he was looking for. “Here we go. Now this was roughly 120 years ago, or four generations. It’s not so much a history book, but written similar to a novel to make the facts easier for the reader to remember, rather than just bombarding them with endless seeming names and numbers.” He coughed once to clear his throat and began reading from the book.

she said, "that the first review was the most important one. That what a wolf says in the first review tells you everything about how the structure will hold." She held Adra's gaze. "What did I say?" she said. "You told her about the third conflict," Adra said. "The one you didn't have to tell her about." She paused. "She said it was the thing that told her the structure would hold." She looked at Zara. "Your children write a twelve-page structural analysis at ten years old and lead with the thing they're least certain about — the implementation section, which they acknowledged needs further work. They didn't hide the weakness."

She did it before anyone else arrived. The way she always prepared the room. Without being asked. Without needing to be. The template work began with a question. Finn had written it on a clean page and set it in the center of the table. What does the structure do—specifically—to prevent accurate information from traveling upward? Not what happened. What the structure did. The mechanism. The design. They worked through it territory by territory. Ashveil first—Sera's own account, and the eastern circle's contributions, and Wren's medical records, and Cress's communication documentation.

FADE INTO YOU

FADE INTO YOU

The consequences of the first plot point usually lead to the first pinch point, in which the protagonist faces intense pressure as a result of the first plot point. 4 Tips for Writing a Great First Plot Point An effective first plot point serves as the catalyst for adventure for your protagonist. Here are some tips for writing a great first plot point: Recognize that placement is key. The first plot point marks the end of the first act and serves as a bridge into act two. In three-act structure, the placement of plot points is critical, and the unusual positioning of this first major turning point can have an adverse ripple effect on the rest of the story structure. If the first key event co

While you were planning a wedding. I’ve divided the chapter into two balanced, novel-style chapters with fitting emotional headings while keeping your original words and flow intact.

Promised to the Alpha

My thinking is that I add an authors note a the end of 'book' 1 so to speak and re-write the synopsis to advise any new readers that it will be 2 books in one. Alternatively, the other idea I had was to just have a longer book, but I don't want the length to scare off new readers. Thanks in advance! :)

So if this is Book 1 and 2??? What and where is the second book. I’ve read until chapter 59. The comments at the end asking about when the next chapter will be posted are all from 2months ago. Is this it?

This book is an excellent read so far but it is supposed to be book 1 and book 2. There have been no updates on this story in a long time, that is true. Has anyone found out if anything is wrong with the author? It should be one of the questions asked.

The Scandalous Step Siblings: First Enemies, Then Lovers

The Scandalous Step Siblings: First Enemies, Then Lovers

It was a bridge back to the mountain, a promise whispered in the dark of a ruined tower, and the only thing tethering me to reality. I thought about the 300,000 words I wanted this book to be. This story—our story. We were halfway through the epic, and the structure was a disaster. The hero was languishing in a hospital wing under a cloud of treason, and the girl was trapped in a concrete box for a crime she didn't commit. If I were reviewing this as a novel, I’d be scathing. I’d say the pacing was too frantic, the stakes were unnecessarily high, and the villain—Ethan Vance—was far too arrogant to be believable.

The Husband Who Fell in Love With Me Twice

She ignored him completely. "You want the exhibition to show transformation," she said, pointing at me before shifting her finger toward Anton, "and Anton wants the message to be clear." I crossed my arms again. "And?" Ashley pushed herself up from the couch and walked toward the desk. "So structure it like a journey." She began counting on her fingers. "Start with tradition," she said, lifting one finger. "Then conflict." A second finger. "Then transformation." I glanced at Anton. He had gone quiet, his expression thoughtful as he considered the idea.

Too Late To Love Me: I Already Left With His Twins

I dropped my bag on the chair, kicked off my shoes halfway across the room, and went straight for my laptop like if I paused for even a second, I might lose the clarity I had in my head. I sat cross-legged on the bed, screen lighting up my face as I started mapping everything out. Not just random ideas, not scattered thoughts. Structure. Five sessions. Clear direction. Identity first, then voice, then visibility, then pressure handling, then refinement. I kept typing, pausing, deleting, rewriting. At some point I opened three different tabs, cross-checking frameworks, then closing them again because… no, this had to be hers. Not something copied. Not something recycled. I leaned back for a s

الأسئلة الشائعة

Novels are these sprawling, immersive worlds packed between two covers, where characters breathe and stories unfold in ways that feel almost alive. I've always seen them as more than just books—they're experiences. A novel isn't just about telling a story; it's about making you live it, whether through the gritty realism of 'The Grapes of Wrath' or the fantastical depths of 'The Lord of the Rings'. What hooks me is how they juggle multiple threads—plot, theme, character arcs—and weave them into something cohesive yet unpredictable.

What sets novels apart from shorter fiction is their room to breathe. They can take detours, build intricate backstories, and let relationships simmer slowly. Think about how 'Pride and Prejudice' lets Elizabeth and Darcy's tension build over chapters, or how '1984' spends pages making you feel the weight of Winston's paranoia. That depth is what makes novels addictive. They’re not just read; they’re inhabited. And the best ones? They leave you permanently changed, like you’ve lived a whole other life by the last page.
