Nymph Mythology Novels & Stories

Just like what Eugene said, if only Abby had done her homework and read the books that he provided, she would have known why earth nymphs did not like to be referred to as 'Fairies'. Fairies and nymphs may have looked quite the same but they were two different entities. Nymphs were the spirits of nature as such there were also different kinds of nymphs as per elements. There were earth nymphs, water nymphs, fire nymphs, and wind nymphs. Nymphs in general looked like a winged human, the size of a thumb.

He shouted without knowing what to do to get the Nymph's attention. The waters stayed calm for a moment and when Edwin was losing all hope a ripple formed a few feet in front of him. A female Nymph appeared, her skin dark as the waters, with scales on his lower body, instead of legs she had a fin, long and strong just as the whales, her eyes blue like the sky and her hair purplish and blueish with shells and starfish on her head. 'Who calls for the Ancient Power of the Lake Samuodra?" She asked, her voice a beautiful melody that tried to enchant Edwin.

I’d never felt so alive. People walked around me in all different shapes and sizes, none of them were the one I hoped to see. It was amazing to see the variety in humans. Nymphs were all tall and slender with more or less the same shape. Nymphs and Fae were all a big extended family of magical beings. Different types of fae tended toward different coloring, but all wood nymphs had blonde hair and green eyes.

Eli explained. "You expect me to believe this?" she questioned. Eli gently guided her to the next group of people dancing more effortlessly, fair-like, and beautiful. One girl had emerald green scaly skin with yellow cat-like eyes, and another looked like the waves of the water, different shades of blue and white from her dress to her hair. "Nymphs," Eli explained, "They all have different strengths. Like Bashira, she's a snake type; Allura, she controls water elements; Lewellyn, a nature type."

Just like the Empire of the Inhumanes the water Nymphs lived on an island but very smaller in size and surrounded by running rivers, streams and water falls. Embellished by many enhanced glassy tall and pointing shaped see-through buildings erected in the middle of the small island that penetrated up the grey clouds in a way from afar it looks more like a high glassy mushrooms in the midst of smaller and thinner glassy mushrooms as The King of the Forest Nymphs described such superstructures.

*Mt. Olympus, Greece* "Thank you so much polyagapiménos" Thaelia exclaimed as the nymph finished filing her nails, leaving the moon princess with a perfect manicure. Eliza, the nymph smiled in response and parted with a bow, after taking her basin of filthy water with her. That's the thing with people working under her, they never uttered a single word, which she never understood. Why was it so forbidden for them to talk with her? Just a friendly chat?

"What's a nymph? That's a good thing, right?" She asked unsure. "Nymphs are just as their name implies, promiscuous despicable creatures with excessive sexual desires or sexual appetites. Always seeking male company or partaking in harems or orgies to sate themselves. Yet they are insatiable, it is a compulsion of their nature, an inbuilt behavior, a trait, a curse." He said bluntly. A curse. The word reverberated in her mind. She could see how Rojan would see those traits to be a curse, he was after all, the prince of celibacy that enshrined self-preservation beyond anything else.

Typical! The deal was that the nymphs would only have sex with those that hadn’t found their mates or had lost their mates because of death. They use a special magic that brings out the desired person of the unmated so the nymph would have their face and body but only to the one who is with them. To anyone looking in, the nymph wouldn’t have changed.

She later discovered it wasn't protected a fae guard because there was no need - water nymphs lived inside the caves and those who dare to enter the caves would be enraptured by the nymph's enchanted voices, never to return to the land of the living. Nari was highly aware that she didn't have enough knowledge and power to kill a nymph so she used a glamour spell, adopting the look and sound of a water nymph before entering the caves. And from there, she quickly raided the tomb nearest to the entrances. If she wasn't in a mausoleum and surrounded by pin-drop silence, she would have laughed with joy after having obtained the Royal Fae's essence with such ease. Because of her euphoric state, sh

“He’s mine, bitch! Mine and the rest of our mates!” “Forgive my pet, she doesn’t know her place and as a kitty nymph it is in her nature to seduce men,” an older and well-dressed fae says and the nymph turns into a little cat. “Kitty nymphs are part cat shifter, part succubus and part water nymph,” Raff whispers. “I wasn’t under her spell like you were, baby. I’m a fae of royal blood. She doesn’t have power over me.” “Do you have any ball gags that match this and could withstand a dragon shifter?” Raff asks the man.
