Offered To The Lycan King Mga Nobela at Kwento

Alora’s eyes met mine across the room, and she smiled, nodding. I smiled back and hugged my siblings closer. Then there was a throat clearing, jolting us back to the chambers. The Lycan king's gaze was fixed on me. “You will not get her for free. For blood returned, blood must be given. My granddaughter… for your sister.” I froze as there were gasps in the council.

to merit a spot here. I cocked my head, anxiety and curiosity at odds. "The pack from Shadow Realm," Dax remarked. "You've heard of them?" I gave a nod. The formidable Shadow Realm pack and their mysterious Lycan King were well known. "The father of the present king, the former Lycan King, is looking for a new partner. a youthful companion." Dax's gaze pierced my own. "I propose we offer you as a gift." My mouth sprang open in dismay. He couldn't be serious, right?

She made sure she was kept on her toes all the time. "Surely it has to be something Adrian, seeing you spent hours outside. Who was it?" Her voice was on edge and her nose flared in annoyance. I watched her play with her hands in anxiousness as she waited on my answer. I wanted to strangle her and watch her body fall in death in front of me, but since that wasn't conducive, I decided to tell her a part of truth. "Yes. It was the Lycan King of Ver. Once again, I had to clean up your mess. You killed his soldiers. He came to avenge their death. He has requested two of mine. Blood for blood."

, he questioned. "Actually, my father, the Lycan King, was perfectly ready to reject your offer despite the attractive things you promised. I was the one who decided that I wanted to come back here. All those additional things he requested were an attempt to make you change your mind and take back your offer but you agreed to sending everything; both the extra stuff he asked for and what you offered to send," I revealed to him. "Is there anything that the Blood Moon pack has that we wouldn't be able to give up when the existence of this pack is presently at stake?"

The Lycan King decided to end the war by bringing forth a proposition. He offered a treaty for peace to reign, he wanted to ally with Humans. In exchange for peace to reign, he would marry the first daughter of Vitalis, whom he thought was beautiful. Vitalis was reluctant but the other Humans convinced him to relent, that his sacrifice would last for generations to come.

“Celia was brought here as an offering, just like all the other girls. Do you know what it means to take back a present? Do you know how poorly will it reflect on your pack and your standing in the King’s eyes?” The prince thundered and the way the lights around us flickered made us take a step back involuntarily. The air suddenly felt heavy and I felt a suffocating pressure around me, dragging me down. Alpha Jack fell to his knees and clasped his hands together. “The Lycan king wants me to offer something in exchange for leaving my newborn son unharmed while alpha Kyle, who attacked my pack, wants to barter my son in exchange for not having to give up on his own daughter.”

A shiver ran down my spine. I only knew an inkling of his true self. Not all. One wrong move and my life would be in danger. I may have gotten the upper hand, but I should not forget that this was the Lycan King I was talking about. He did not have the moniker Mad King for nothing. “I have a proposition.” “A proposition, you say? About what?” “In relation to your beloved crown.” “Let me hear it, then.” "I will agree to marry you and give you a child, but you have to forget Eva. In exchange also, I want my sister's remains to be transferred to our pack and we will have our freedom back. That's my proposition. How is that, Your Majesty?"

Lycan King Logan had summoned me to his pack, and I had no choice but to obey. His summons weren’t invitations. They were commands, and refusing him wasn’t an option. Not if I wanted to keep my head attached to my shoulders. I never expected this deal going sideways. Some Alphas I had invited for the alliances didn't accept it because they were scared of the wrath of the Lycan King.

she asked after seeing that I knew too much for her to deny anything further. I smirked, taking another drag from my cigar before responding. "Well, all that I want is your silence, Desiree. That, and your undying support." I paused, exhaling the ingested smoke. "The Lycan King will become unstable soon because he now has no true mate and that will cause the Elders to give me the title. When that happens, I will be given what is rightfully mine and you will have the love of your life."

She casually outlines my fate like it’s no big deal. I try to swallow, but it feels like I’m forcing toothpicks down my throat. From the moment it was announced, I knew I was doomed, but having someone saying outrightly spit the facts in my face like this makes it so much worse. “Yes.” I reply dryly. “The Lycan King being so kind always makes those last three days the best days of the bride-to-be's lives by letting them do whatever they want and to visit any place of their choice. That is to say that we are all at your service. From now until you die, you can command for anything you need and visit any place you’d love to visit. You’re also allowed to do whatever it is that you wish to do.”
