Offered To The Lycan King Novels & Stories

I replied He glanced at the king and offered him his hand to help him up, I was thrilled that he was willing to go against the Lycan for my sake but at the same time, I was scared that he had already ruined any chance of favor I had with the Lycans "Your wife saved my son's life, that is the only reason I will spare you," the Lycan king said, "I have heard about you and I know you are strong and have a special ability bestowed on you by the moon goddess but trust me, you are still no match for the Lycans" "Should we find out about that?" Dylan asked, seemingly offended by the remark "No" I replied on the Lycans king's behalf, "nobody is finding out about who is stronger"

He held out his hand — not the cufflink this time, his actual hand, palm up, an offer and a cage at once. "Marry me," said the Lycan King. "Be my Luna. Or watch our son die a stranger's death in a human hospital. Choose now. The terms don't improve."

The shock of the news was audible as the pack gasped in awe. The Lycan King hadn't been seen outside the castle walls in years. He was rumored to be a vicious beast, one who fed off the pain and torment of those around him. He killed without warning and took whatever he wanted without consequence. The stories of his ruthlessness were vast, and I knew nothing good would come of him leaving his castle. When The Offering was made each year before, only the unmated members of his pack showed up to choose from our unmated she-wolves. Never him.

He’s been watching since the ceremony. I looked at Rowan. ‘I understand if you want me to leave before he arrives. Whatever political obligation his arrival creates for you. I don’t want you to leave, Rowan said. He is the Lycan King. If he arrives here and finds you have been —’ Harboring you. Something in his voice was almost amused. Harboring is an interesting word for offering a guest a bed and breakfast. I stopped arguing. Not because I had run out of arguments but because I could see that they were not going to work, and I had learned a long time ago not to spend energy on immovable things.

I feel shivers in my spine at the danger of it all I step keep moving until I am very sure he is around and there he is. The beast that stands before me is twice the size of a normal Lycan- just as a Lycan king should be.

I glanced over to meet Theo's eyes, finding them already fixed on me. He rose smoothly, brushing popcorn from his hands. "I'd love to help with this demonstration," he said, his voice carrying across the training ground. "I'd rather do it than let someone else." The significance of his offer wasn't lost on anyone present. The Lycan King, volunteering to be taken down by a werewolf in front of both species – it was unprecedented. "Are you sure?" I asked as he approached, aware of every eye upon us.

I shrug. “Ah. How romantic.” Violet scoffs. “Nothing romantic about it.” I snap at her, making sure she knows I don’t see Gemini like that. I don’t care if it’s a lie. No one, especially Gemini, can know of my feelings. “I grabbed her ankle and took off like an animal, dragging her along.” “Damn.” Ames blinks. “For as long as I can remember, the lycan king is always offered a virgin from each pack…” She narrows her eyes. “What do you do with them?”

I pulled my hand away from him, hiding the smirk threatening to tear out of my mouth as I watched his eyes darken in horror. "No," He practically yelled, holding my hands in place. "If you want her dead so much, I'll do it. I'll do anything for you." "You will?" "Of course," he told me. "I would do anything for you."

The light, like his golden eyes, was glaring and imposing, making it hard to look directly at him. —That indifferent man was nothing like my Luc. Every noble lining up to hand him tributes like the sun itself had stepped onto their soil. Each one offered something rarer than the last — enchanted weapons, lunar pearls, gem-forged armor blessed by ancient alphas. Then, each person who had given a gift excitedly walked down, starting to discuss Lucian. "Never has anyone said that the Lycan King is so handsome! It's truly captivating..." “Shh! That's not the focus today！,” someone whispered. “...The Lycan King, to visit a werewolf province personally… has it ever happened before?”
