Hunted By My Rejected Mate

Hunted By My Rejected Mate

That pride was my one hope. I looted the middle shelf of the west wall first. It seemed most untouched, most neglected. Nothing at first—ancient textbooks, account books, and fabricated stories only. And then I saw it. A thick book hidden behind a stack of herbal alchemy texts. The spine was worn, but the carved design into the leather glowed softly in the moonlight. Symbols. Old, witch-begotten.

Mated To The Rejected Omega

Mated To The Rejected Omega

The air was thick with the scent of pine and damp earth, a familiar smell that usually brought me comfort, but tonight it felt heavy, oppressive. As we rounded a corner, I noticed a small, rickety wagon tucked away in a shadowed alley. An elderly man, his face etched with wrinkles and his eyes twinkling with an unsettling knowing, was peddling what looked like ancient books. Most were tattered and worn, but one caught my eye. It was bound in dark leather, the cover devoid of any title but adorned with strange, swirling symbols. An inexplicable pull drew me to it. "Wait," I said to Lucas, stopping in my tracks.

he growled and out of nowhere Lilith was in front of me with another book in her hands. It was another big book, its cover was not normal, you can tell it by single glance that it was not written in this era. The pages were golden yellow and the cover was made of skin. Books before sixteenth century were used to have animal skin as their covers. Damien took the book from her hand and started flipping pages. The smell of old book hits my nostrils and it only confirmed my suspicions. He stopped after flipping twenty or so pages and turned the book towards me. There was a sketch, a drawing of a necklace on the right side of the book.

Hello lovely people! sorry for leaving you all hanging in middle of nowhere. I seriously didn't get time in past month to update for which I am really sorry. I will try to complete the story in this book only. Please be patient with me as I am recently acquainted to college life.

I'm guessing that English isn't your first language. Maybe it would be best to hire an editor? Some of the grammar mistakes make for a confusing read. I have had to re-read quite a few lines and guess the meaning with context clues. I'm intrigued with the story so keep it coming!

THE ALPHA'S CAPTIVE TUTOR

THE ALPHA'S CAPTIVE TUTOR

she continued. I didn’t wait for further directions and headed that way. Sara was right. The library was crammed with books so rare that I didn’t even think they existed. I ran my fingers over them and stopped at the supernatural section. Werewolves. The variety of these books was astonishing. A Hidden History or Under the Full Moon. But the one that caught my attention was The Grim Howl.

His Dead Luna

The room beyond was dimly lit, and the air was thick with the scent of old magic. "Be careful," the librarian warned. "The books in here are not to be trifled with. They contain powerful spells and dark secrets. Use caution in your search." With that, she left them to their search. Amanda, Hannah, and Rajan combed through the shelves, searching for any mention of Marcelyn. They found books on ancient blood rituals, dark magic, and even necromancy. But there was no mention of the woman they sought. Just as they were about to give up hope, they stumbled upon a dusty old tome hidden in the back of a shelf. The book was bound in black leather and embossed with strange symbols.

Finally, she stopped at a section of old herbalism texts, many of them so worn that their covers had faded to ghostly shades of green and brown. “Here,” she said, pulling down three heavy volumes and carrying them to a table near the far window. Dust floated in the golden beams of light that spilled in from the glass above. “These are the most likely to have what you need. But be careful, some of these methods are outdated, and some are very dangerous.” Ryker and I sat opposite each other, the books spread between us like treasure maps. The clock on the wall ticked quietly, marking the passing minutes. Outside, I could hear the faint sound of rain beginning to fall against the library roof.

Esmerelda Sleuth: The Other Side of the Mirror (Book 1)

“It’s a holiday weekend so the office is closed on Monday. A few of the people from work are going to spend the extended weekend at Lance’s country estate. It’s been in his family for centuries and is established with some phenomenal amenities. Or, so I am told. I’ll bet he’d let you come along.” Nora’s eyes lit up; as did my attention. Was she simply inviting Nora? Or, was I included in on this invite? It wasn’t because the house belonged to a rich and handsome guy that I wanted to go. Not only did I believe that I’d be of no interest to him, but I was too focused on making senior investigator to spare the time and energy needed for dating. It was just that I loved old things; espec

The Mysterious Affair

The Mysterious Affair

Just past the first turn, she realised there was no house, no village in front of her, only a long stretch of whiteness bordered by snow-powdered hedges without a telltale rise in smoke in the distance. She didn't dare look up again for a long while. Time lost all meaning as she walked onward, her cheeks stinging, then without feeling, as hints of eventide crept in behind the melancholy December sky. It was then that Betty murmured an almost forgotten prayer from her childhood……...a little something to her guardian Angel begging an entree to paradise. ………………………….. She awoke stretching contentedly. Staring up at the unfamiliar ceiling, it took her a few moments to determine where she was, but

The Lycan King's Fated Mate

The dim, golden light from the chandeliers above created pools of light and shadow, adding to the library’s timeless atmosphere. I searched diligently, combing through the aisles dedicated to ancient mysteries and the occult. The titles were intriguing yet obscure, written in languages I could barely decipher. Just as despair began to settle in, my eyes caught sight of a section labeled "Ancient Mysteries of the Wolf Race." My heart leaped with hope as I approached the section, quickly pulling out a few volumes.

Reborn Luna:Her Second Chance Mate

The place was filled with the smell of old parchment and knowledge. “It's time to find out what happened that day after Emma tried to kill me. To find out if there's any wolf that could be reborn.” Odessa strolled down the aisle, running her hands through the rows of books as she felt a wave of energy from the ancient books. “Where do I even start from?” Odessa questioned no one. Her voice was barely above a whisper over the creaking of numerous old shelves. After searching endlessly for the right book, to no avail, apparently.
