My mate, Lycan Steven, had pretended to be my professor at school. I had been fooled into falling in love with his tactics and acting to reclaim me—his mate. He had successfully claimed my heart again. A low growl interrupted us as a rogue appeared from the bushes. He attacked my mate, but Steven dodged swiftly and clawed the rogue's heart. The rogue was killed instantly, a testament to Steven's strength. After finishing with the rogue by consuming its flesh and discarding its head, I stood there in awe, struggling to grasp the reality unfolding before me.

If it was, it had worked spectacularly, because the two had an awkward little hug, something that they never did, and then Luke was gone again. It took Steven a minute to think it through, to wrap his head around it just being said and done. If Steven didn't know any better, he’d think that the universe was fucking with him. "I'll take it from here." Al nodded and strolled off. I was alone with Steven. He stepped towards me and the dim light illuminated his features slightly. Despite his dark blue, motor oil-stained overalls and huge boots, he was quite intimidating. Steven was taller than me by several inches and he looked like someone you wouldn't want to mess with. I definitely wouldn't pick a fight him. A slowly burning cigarette hung from his thin lips, a trail of smoke drifted upwards as he sneered at me. "Where the hell have you been, boy?"

I began, but my dad cut me off with a scowl. "Enough with the unnecessary pleasantries, come here." I hid my hurt and walked towards them, trying not to gag at Steve's putrid breath. "Is this the Omega?" he asked, his voice dripping with an otherworldly intensity. My parents nodded, pushing me towards him as if offering me up. Steve laughed, his eyes glinting with malevolence. "I smell like death because I am a witch from the underworld," he explained, his voice sending shivers down my spine. I didn't dare ask what the underworld was, fearing what other terrors he might reveal.

"I'm your granddaughter! You clearly knew how dangerous he could be, yet you still forced me to marry him? "Do you really think that little of me?" Seeing her twisted expression, Steven seemed to age ten years in an instant. After a long silence, he finally spoke. "You'll regret this." There was a pause between each word. His eyes carried a sense of pain. "How could I ever regret killing a monster?" Jessica screamed hysterically. Steven pointed at me on the ground. "His name is Christopher. He used to be the ace of the Special Forces. Now he's part of my Classified Unit."

Derren replied. Steven got up from the bed and stood up straight. He only had his trousers on, leaving his top half open completely. His torso and arms were stained with bruise marks from the cables and pipes that were stuck to his body during his time with Professor Joseph. “Governor Gerald, Professor Joseph, and Evelyn are going to die by my hands. For the sake of Gregory and for the sake of all the people they put through so much pain because of their selfish goals, I'm going to make sure they pay,” Steven said, his voice laced with anger as he tightened his fist.

Cam told them, they all nodded and we faced the vampires agin. "Steven, do you want to show them our little present?" Bane asked with an evil smirk. "Yes your majesty but dont you want to do the honours since you did it all my lord?" said that Steven guy with his own evil smirk and let me tell you when he smirks it looks like he constipated and his teeth are like stars, not so bright but so far away, seriously I could stick my finger between one of those gaps.

Bella asked curiously, "Who is Steven? You're all so respectful to him." "Sigh..." Jex felt a headache, how could he not have a headache? Steven is a few years older than his dad, in terms of generation, they're related somehow, he has to call him Uncle. "He's a real estate tycoon, the old man is wealthy." Many projects in their company are funded by him, they can't afford to offend him.
