Curiosity slowly replaced part of her confusion afterward. Clara walked carefully toward the bookshelf before pulling out one of the books randomly. She sat down nearby afterward and began flipping through the pages absentmindedly, trying to distract herself from the strange thoughts building inside her head. Time passed quietly afterward. Almost two hours later, H1 entered the study while holding a parcel carefully in its mechanical hands. Walking straight past the toilets and following my nose, I enter the library, an odd place to find someone when it was lunch time and when everyone else was outside practically drooling over me. Opening the door and stepping in the large library, the smell grew stronger, my mate was definitely nearby. Books filled the room, stretching from the floor to the ceiling, so my mate is a bookworm, I can live with that.

Lena woke up the morning after a little earlier than usual. The sun was just rising itself above the horizon, casting long shadows on the empty street. The bookstore in early morning light seemed to be otherworldly — serene, serene, like a cathedral. She liked it best at this hour. No customers yet, no distractions. Probably Madam Camila brought these books for the orphan kids. From afternoon, it was night, time flew fast. I toss it open and start flipping pages. Nothing so far, just some illustrations. But it doesn’t take long to see it won’t be enough.

Another grab for the book and some food, then I crossed my legs and opened my reading books while I ate my sandwich heartily. "Are you reading that ham again?" I felt Wynn's gaze more than I saw him. "It can't be that interesting." But she could only say that because she didn't read anything but mindless teen magazines. "I am learning. Give it a try, it's good for your future. "

A pair of arms wrapped around me, and I instantly settled into the familiar embrace as both of us watched the sun set over our kingdom. I couldn’t help the squeal of delight that escaped my mouth. I had finally completed my book, 1001 Dark Tales. The look on my editor’s face was one of disbelief when I announced I was stopping all other books to focus solely on that one. I guess writing 1001 Dark Tales takes a long time, four years to be exact. Still, I had written enough books with the help of my quill that I had more than a steady income.

I let out a heavy sigh of relief, and finished my hot chocolate before heading back inside, and walking towards the living room. I decided to turn on one of the lights that stood on one of the miniature tables next to the couch, and I opened the book which I had been reading for the past few days. I read for what felt like hours, and when I looked back up at the clock that was hanging on the wall, I found out that I had been reading for the past three hours.
