As it rushed over, it could already spot Rudy and Grayson carrying the man into the spirit vessel. The hungry wolf, suddenly angered, looked up to the skies and let out a long howl, and Rudy turned to look back at it. That one glance caused Rudy to almost kneel on the floor in fear. "A one-eyed frost wolf! It's a mature one-eyed frost wolf!" Fane inhaled sharply at this; it was just as he had thought. The fur they had encountered before this belonged to the very wolf right ahead of them! This wolf had already matured, and a matured one-eyed frost wolf was already at the spring-solidifying realm. It was a being that could kill Rudy with one swipe of its claw!

He lifted his hand to reveal a white paper origami wolf, that when you move its tail, it looks like it howls into the air. “This is for you. While you are staying with us, you are a part of our pack and nobody will ever hurt you. I give you my word, if anyone lays a hand on you, they will lose their life.” I watched his eyes flicker and could see his wolf present, there was more to his words than just calming Susan down. “That's beautiful. Look Leon it looks just like Mystic, Nate's wolf.” She gleamed as she reached for it but I on the other hand stiffened. That was not a part of the conversation we had gotten too yet.

He together with a brown wolf attacked Alpha Clause, leaving me unprotected for the smaller wolf that was ash in color to attack me. They might have thought that I was weak and that was why they had only one small wolf attack me, but I was strong and I would show them. I threw a kick at the wolf's jaw and he reared back, letting out a loud growl both in pain and anger.

Melinda seemed to sense my thoughts, because she turned to me and said, "This wolf is no ordinary animal. He must be Alpha Malik." I nodded, with my eyes fixed on the scene in front of me. The wolf was ferocious, its attacks relentless, and the shadow warriors were no match for the wolf's strength and speed. As the last of the shadow warriors fell to the ground, the wolf turned to face Melinda and I. "Who are you?" Melinda said, her voice shaking with emotion. "Announce yourself." The wolf let out a low growl, and then it finally said, "I am Alpha Malik."

AUTHOR'S P.O.V. In the shrouded shadows of the night, a formidable black wolf, with fur as dark as the abyss, prowled stealthily through the underbrush. Its eyes, glowing with a fierce, infernal red, were fixed intently on the men stationed outside the building. Despite its lupine form, it exuded a commanding presence over the armed men in their human guise. The wolf, driven by a singular purpose, was here for one individual – a target it was resolutely determined to eliminate this very night.
