It wasn't anywhere near pleasant. "Yea. I know you've been asleep, but there's a war going on, sis. You should've known that even in your sleep with all the bombs & mines constantly going off." I shook my head in denial, "So let me process this again. You're saying there's a war going on and I've been asleep?" She asked loudly, waiting for him specifically to answer. War sighed, hating how all of this was turning out. His wolf just wanted to grab their mate and go but unfortunately, it was just not that easy. Not to mention she was upset. I could hear the loud rhythm of my heart, it felt like it would burst out of my chest in no time. I was overwhelmed with a sense of panic and confusion.
