Placing my arms on my knees, I lower my head, overcome by an immense sadness, and begin to cry. I strive to be strong, to not let their actions affect me, but it's too difficult. I wish I could play, run, and scream with everyone, but no one wants me around, and it hurts deeply. "Look sis, someone over there is sad," I hear a gentle voice say. I'm drawn to the voice; it sounds pleasant. However, I pay it no attention and continue my cascade of tears. Suddenly, my tears cease, and I feel warm arms enveloping me in a comforting embrace. I

Isaac suddenly contorted his face in raw pain and sadness, as if something deep had been triggered within him by Adrian's words. In that instant, Isaac became distraught, tears flooding his eyes. "What's wrong?" Adrian asked, concerned about lacing his voice. Isaac inhaled deeply, his chest trembling with emotion. "Just reminds me of my sister who is lost," he said through an agonizing voice. The words seemed to echo, a sad remembrance of the deep scars that Isaac had within himself.

"You can't go anywhere, you're very sick, Eden." "I'm going to be destitute if I don't open." Tears spring to my eyes, spilling over easily. "You don't understand," I sob, embarrassed that I can't control these overwhelming emotions. I've kept this to myself for months, and for it to be coming out when I'm my most vulnerable? This shit sucks. "Your shop is being taken care of." His voice is low and assuring, just on this side of amused. "Being taken care of?"

CLYONE I closed my eyes even tighter as I leaned my head against the cabinet behind me. I could feel the hot liquid slowly streaming down on my cheeks. Geeze. Here comes the crybaby me again. The song keep blasting really loud as it lingers in my ears. Every word of the lyric fills my head making such a massive impact as if it is embracing the emotions inside me, sympathizing or maybe trying to make me feel better. Unfortunately, it just made the sorrow vivid, not lessen it.

All these feelings seemed to envelop my entire body, making me feel like there was no way out of this sadness. I grabbed my phone from my bedside table and opened the photo app. I scrolled through old pictures, looking for something to cheer me up. When I saw the pictures of me and Erlan, my longing deepened. Every picture and moment made me feel sadder, remembering how happy we were together. With a heart full of sadness, I closed the photo app and put my phone back down. I lay down on my bed, closed my eyes, and tried to sleep even though my mind kept spinning. The blanket covering my body did not provide the comfort I wanted.

LEVI’S POV Before You Go by Lewis Capaldi “I fell by the wayside like everyone else. I hate you, I hate you, I hate you, but I was just kidding myself. Our every moment, I start to replace. ‘Cause now that they’re gone, all I hear are the words that I needed to say.” I was singing while I was breaking the shell of an egg. I was cooking some sunny-side up egg, fried rice, and hotdog for breakfast.

I open it to see Trevor standing there. “Are you okay?” He asks, sounding genuine in his concern. “No. Not really. But I’m strong, I’ll get through this.” I say with a watery smile, trying to choke back my tears. “You know, you don’t have to be strong all the time. It’s okay to be sad. It is okay to cry. I’m a pretty good hugger,” Trevor says as he opens his arms to me. I don’t know why, but he makes me feel safe. I move forward and wrap my little arms around him. My face is buried in his chest, and I let go again. We just stand in the hallway, him holding onto me and rubbing my back in soothing circles. As my tears dry up, I feel a little embarrassed.

I gently touched my cheek. “I can’t believe people get scared of a pretty cute face like mine,” I whispered to myself, momentarily forgetting the previous night's drama, forgetting how I had physically shoved a terrified mistress back into my husband’s arms. “The only thing that brings me joy is me.” Knock. Knock. Knock. Three sharp, demanding raps shattered the quiet of the morning. My little smile faded instantly, wiped away by the tension tightening my shoulders.

She paused. Inhaling a soft breath, Crystal nodded. "Yes, sometimes literally the death of our heart occurs, but it's for a limited time. Our hearts don't stop beating even for a second. If it stopped beating, we'll be expired. When people feel sad, they'll be immersed in the word 'sad.' If we want to overcome it, all we have to do is to forget the words which make us sad, which makes us think."
