All I wanted to be was a full time reporter. One interview. One night. “I will not sign the papers.” I said firmly trying to push this devilishly handsome man off me. His touch was enough to cause the butterflies in me and put me in a trance but I am willing to fight. “I won’t marry you even at my death bed, Mr. Dominic.” He smirked and leant closer to me. I turned my head away from his face causing his lips to brush across my cheek. His whispered, “Sign the papers or else…” Getting caught spying comes with the worst consequences for Anastasia. And even worse when the devil, himself catches her.

When I see it again, then at that time I will never let go again. Ting! After waiting for quite a while, the elevator door finally opened wide, and he immediately entered it without thinking. He pressed the number button according to the floor he wanted to go to. However, his eyes immediately fell on someone. The atmosphere inside the elevator immediately felt gripping, as if there was a dark and eerie aura enveloping the elevator. Of course, it wasn't because of the presence of a ghost, but an even scarier creature. The woman immediately glanced behind her to see if she had looked wrong, and her gaze met the piercing dark gray eyes of someone she once knew. The man grinned a little with hungry gazes tracing his whole body, making the woman feel very nervous and scared. "Good afternoon, Mr. Davero," she muttered nervously. "Afternoon," he answered hoarsely. The tall, handsome man stepped closer to the woman, making her stunned. She backed away slowly. The man who was called Davero did not stop his movements. He continued to corner the woman until he touched the elevator wall behind him. He looked scared because the man was getting closer. "Long time no see," said Davero with a grin that made the hairs stand on end. The woman could not move a bit. Moreover, the man's hand touched the wall right beside the beautiful woman's head. "What do you want from me?" asked the woman in a weak voice, almost a whisper, after gathering all her courage. "You!" Instantly, the woman's body tensed, and she got goosebumps because she heard a whisper full of threats and pressure that was undeniable. Unknowingly, the woman held her breath out of fear. "You're Mine!"

"Tapi, aku ayah dari bayi dalam perutmu." Kepala Sandisc dianggukan, kali ini. "Kau memang berperan penting dalam membuatku bisa hamil." Segera direngkuhnya dengan kuat wanita itu sehingga Sandisc tak bisa bergerak. "Dulu, aku sepakat untuk tidak campur masalah bayi kita. Tapi, sekarang aku berubah pikiran." Sandisc mendelik, ekspresi terkejut sekaligus juga marah. "Tidak bisa. Kau bahkan tidak punya hak." "Dan, tidak ada kesepakatan tertulis di antara kita." Gerack memerlihatkan raut wajah serius sembari terus melekatkan tatapan. Dekapan pada Sandisc masih erat. "Aku akan memastikan kita merawat bayi dalam perutmu bersama-sama." "Entah kau suka atau tidak, bukan masalah yang harus kita debatkan. Kau tidak bisa melarangku." Sandisc menggeleng. "Tolong jangan buat semua tambah rumit. Kita tidak mungkin menikah." "Aku tidak mau menjadi istrimu, Gerack." "Bagaimana dengan perasaanmu, Sandisc? Apa kau tidak pernah mencintaiku?" "Mencintai bukan berarti harus menikah bukan, Gerack? Kita masih bisa hidup bersama tanpa kau dan aku menjadi suami-istri." ………… Gerack Brown sudah sepakat untuk tak ikut campur mengenai apa pun yang ada kaitannya dengan bayi mereka. Sandisc Mikkler boleh menjadi orangtua tunggal untuk Queeny. Namun pada akhirnya, Gerack mengingkari janji.
