MAID OF REVENGE

MAID OF REVENGE

The sight inside stopped her cold. Nathan was there. The young heir stood near the tall window, half-hidden in the soft glow of the single lamp. He wore a casual white shirt with the sleeves rolled up, revealing toned forearms, and his dark hair was slightly tousled as if he had been running his fingers through it. He looked up the moment she entered, his gaze locking onto hers with an intensity that made her stomach tighten. It almost seemed as though he had been waiting for her.

Stranger Shore

Stranger Shore

Upton was back at the Church though, so Iris figured she must be chatting with Frederick, the only other Kaerent in town. Lady Sandalmur's story was a sad one. Her husband had arrived a year or so before her to fix up the drafty remains of an old clans-house, endearing himself to the town with his earnest attitude, stellar mutton stew and ginger cake recipes, and willingness to overpay the local children for help with basic tasks. But then he had died only a few weeks after Lady Sandalmur had arrived, leaving her alone in a land whose language her tongue still fumbled and whose people she held little in common with. She had worn mourning black for most of her torturous pregnancy, only to don

Wolf Prince

Wolf Prince

In particular, on his hand there is a very prominent red necklace, because there is also a rather large gold wolf attached. He didn't seem too interested in her, so he turned away within a minute, leaving Lily and the bloody girl behind. Only now did the light make Lily see her clearly. His face was scratched and patched, his legs were amputated to the pelvis, his face was white from blood loss. The other man and man took a few steps closer to Lily and said: "Be obedient! It's your honor to marry him!" The man holding Lily's chin jerked to the side, her face clearly showing an unyielding will, a bit of contempt for the person standing in front of her. She spit in his face and laughed.

An Outcast Of Time

An Outcast Of Time

The watch coldly replied, the mechanical words without sympathy: – Because she is affected by the paradox of time, if your mother had strong contact with an outcast like you, her memories of the other timeline would be awakened. Aurora heard these words and couldn't help but feel a little happy. So that means, is it possible that her mother will remember her? If that was the case, then there would be a person in this world who knew of her existence and knew that she once existed. Aurora had never thought that someone who knew of her existence would make her so happy.

Wolfblood

Wolfblood

ALEXANDER My father and sister were both pretty fucked-up, but, damn, Blake was sick. Because we had to make do with what was available in the casino, which wasn’t much, Blake had a bunch of his warriors holding the members of the Bois Sombre Pack down while he tortured them. They were both fully naked after being forced into their human forms. Chef’s knives were brought in from the kitchen, and Blake tested each one of them out on the men’s torsos until he figured out which one was the sharpest, their ensuing screams widening his smile, his eyes gleaming.

I thought this book was well developed and I loved how it the story contined on involving both Alex and Blake's pack. I felt this story had more self reflection and perhaps self doubt with some of the MCs. But, honestly I think that is what made the bonds stronger and independently grow.

This book is already so much better than the first. I'm hoping that Jasmine doesn't remain a doormat with Lucy and she gets her comeuppance. I also hope Luke regrets his decision and becomes jealous. Jasmine deserves better than those 2. love Blake! Talia and Alex story definitely intriguing.

Hunter's Moon

Hunter's Moon

“Lead the way.” Nodding, Sabine opened the door. Then she waved them on, and they stepped out of Dante’s tower. As they passed through the lovely garden, more women with flutes, lyres, and lutes joined her procession. A few more Lycans followed with two flags, one of which had her pack’s crest on it. It was a wolf standing on his hind legs and howling at the moon - a deep green and amaranth hue. Under the bougainvillea archway leading out of Dante’s tower, Sabine stepped into the middle.

BELLADONNA

BELLADONNA

He's not kidding. I nod. "Dinner's ready." *** 4am. The cabin door rattles with three loud bangs, followed by another three, and then another. It makes me wonder who the hell would come here this early in the morning and why they’re being so demanding. I rush downstairs to find Oliver behind the door and when he opens it, two large men stand glaring at him. “The doorbell is just as effective, you know,” he says sarcastically. “We’re looking for a lady named Bella,” one of them says ignoring his tone, while the other peaks into the house over Oliver’s shoulder. My heart skips as his eyes land on me.

Vowed (Book #7 in the Vampire Journals)

Vowed (Book #7 in the Vampire Journals)

Caitlin and Caleb had been flying for hours since they’ve left Eilean Donan Castle, heading east, across the vast country of Scotland, getting further and further away from the Isle of Skye. Caitlin had not stopped thinking about the moment when they’d opened that chest in Eilean Donan. Inside, sitting there, had been a single, shining, gold key. It was a small key, and seemed to glow with electric energy.
