REJECTED, NOW DESIRED

REJECTED, NOW DESIRED

The man was already shaking, sweat threatening to cascade down his forehead. “That’s final. You are lucky I haven’t punished you.” I rushed towards the car parked in his lot. “A-alpha! P-please...” He continued to beg, causing me to halt my steps and turn to look at him. Seeing me, I could see a flicker of relief on his face until I spoke, “I declare this stream free from any Duke until I choose another one myself.” “No! P-please don’t do this!” He cried out, but I turned back to walk away.

After Divorce, I Became A Top Streamer!

“Still!” “We do not offer refunds for your information. If you want to move out, you can. But I doubt you'd be getting any place better than this in the next six months. The pack is stuffed up so you better make do with what you have right now. It's not like he moved into your apartment or anything.” My frustration seemed to be boiling over and I might just explode. That made sense, everything he said and I wanted to accept it so bad, but I was in an existential flux. All hope was lost.

Moving On from a Cheater

Moving On from a Cheater

Brad offered. Iris smiled. "I've already booked a moving company." She teased him, "As if a pampered young master like you can do any heavy lifting." Brad was speechless. "Alright, drive safe. Good night," she waved and walked into the gate. As she was walking away, Brad stared at her back and muttered to himself, "I'm actually pretty strong, okay?" Iris heard him. She chuckled but didn’t respond. The case was closed, so Iris should have been able to relax. However, since she had another case involving Liandra's mother coming up, she couldn't. She had to review today's case and organize the evidence.

Angela
The story was good but it stopped abruptly with lots of loose ends. It would have been nice for Kendra to be put in her place after Rachel’s return. We never got to find out the reaction of the Stein family after Renee’s scandal or to get to the climax which would have been Jason and Iris’s wedding

The plot of this novel is quite interesting! It's well written, minus grammar and spelling errors, at least you can read it without getting headache and nose bleed, I looked into how many chapters there are, it's quite a lot but I hope there would be less boring twist and turn in the story

Moving On

Moving On

Sylvie was threatening to commit suicide—again. She stood at the edge of the building, started a live stream, and mentioned my name. I switched on the live broadcast and saw her crying in front of the camera. "Some days ago, I helped the husband of a woman named Lauren Falk get ointment for her after she suffered some burns. She left her hotel door open to seduce other men into satisfying her sexual frustration, but she later regretted it and called the police on them. I then got fired for leaving my post.

OFF-LIMITS

I’m forced to deal with it on a professional basis, but at least my home should be stable and peaceful. "Phoenix had quietly suggested that it might be time for us to move out and get our own place, but I thought that this was the worst possible time for us to leave the old man to his own devices. Who knows, if we turned our backs, that woman might bleed him dry and leave him penniless.

Thanks for Stepping Aside

Thanks for Stepping Aside

They called me in a panic, telling me to come pick them up from the station. Instead of driving, I called a cab and went to meet them. We'd kept in touch with video calls over the years, but no screen could ever compare to seeing them in person. It hit me for the first time that my parents were really getting old. Maybe it was time for me to think about settling down. That thought was still bouncing around in my head when an unexpected—and obnoxiously confident—visitor showed up at the door. Jason Strickland. He was my overseas business partner. He was a young and successful CEO, and on top of that, he had a very wealthy father.

The Colors Of Resilience

The Colors Of Resilience

“Only if we let it.” Outside, the campus lights flickered on one by one. Routine. Unchanged. But underneath that— Everything had shifted. The movement wasn’t just being challenged anymore. It was being contained. Controlled. And if they weren’t careful— It would disappear. Oliver turned back to the table. “We move tonight,” he said. Sarah straightened slightly. Max sat forward. Caspian didn’t look away. “Before they decide the next step for us.” No one argued. Because they all understood now—

Marked but Unclaimed

He just nodded once, slowly, which told Kade that he had already been thinking the same thing. Before either of them could say anything more, a young warrior pushed the door open. He looked a little shaken, like he was not sure if what he had found was important or not. "Alpha, one of the stones on the western path has moved. It was not like that this morning."

Her Request

That's what you resort to when you have someone like my mother who's hell-bent on making you meet up with a stranger on a blind date so that you guys can discover within five minutes if you're made for each other. My phone begun to ring and the caller ID made me remember i have just two months to pay off the mortgage on my house. "Hello Ms. Denver, " The mortgage broker said "Hello Mrs. Kmetko" "It is my pleasure to tell you that the release document for your house is ready and that you can come by the office for the final statement" "How's that even possible? I have two months left to settle the payment plan" "The outstanding payment has being paid." "By who?" I rose up to my feet. Who do i
