You know, it's funny how some characters just don't get the credit they deserve. Take Samwise Gamgee from 'The Lord of the Rings'—everyone raves about Frodo, but Sam was the real hero. He carried Frodo, literally and emotionally, through Mordor. Then there's Bing Bong from 'Inside Out'. That scene where he fades away? Heartbreaking. And yet, people mostly remember Joy and Sadness.
Another underrated gem is M from the James Bond films. Judi Dench brought so much depth to what could've been a bland authority figure. She was stern but caring, and her scenes often had more emotional weight than the action sequences. Even in animated films, characters like Kuzco's peasant friend Pacha from 'The Emperor's New Groove' don't get enough love. Pacha's kindness and patience balanced Kuzco's arrogance perfectly. These characters might not be the flashiest, but they're the glue that holds their stories together.
