It's black, and there's only a chair with a table. They try to open the door, but it's locked. They can smell us, too, surely. "Everything will be fine," Nicole whispers with her lips. I nod and prepare for the worst. They forcefully break the door, and I flinch in fright. Everything is dark, but with my wolf vision, I can see clearly. Then a vampire enters with red eyes, intense black hair, and very pale skin. "We meet again, Jane," the vampire says with a warm but fake smile.

Among them, one individual stood out above the rest – Athdal, a young hybrid of vampire and werewolf blood. Athdal was a rare breed, born of a forbidden union between a vampire and a werewolf. His very existence defied the laws of nature, making him a target for both his own kind and those who sought to maintain the status quo. Yet, despite the dangers that surrounded him, Athdal had managed to carve out a life for himself in Orleana. He was the leader of a pack of hybrids, a group of individuals who, like him, bore the traits of both vampires and werewolves.

It seemed like he didn't drink as much as the previous nights. "What do his eyes look like?" she asked. "They were red. Almost black. They were hollow." He shivered at the memory before turning to her. "It is no surprise. He has no soul." He said. "Is he the one killing the women?" "Yes. He is a monster. A demon. He feeds on these women. That is why I have to kill him or he will grow stronger with every soul he takes." Angelica frowned. All this sounded so unreal, yet she knew there was something behind what her father said. He couldn't just be making up everything. Maybe exaggerating, but something was going on in their town.

Delaphine said with a bright smile as she reached for an apple from a low branch and bite right into it. "I hope you get what your heart desire," I wished her. "Ho-oh.., someone who you can't stand is coming towards us," Delaphine whispered to me. My head turned to see who it was and my stomach instantly churned noticing it was Turner Cavill. A boy who was also a part of my village before it was attacked by werewolves. "Let's go somewhere else," I told Delaphine as I quickly got up. Turner ran in front of me stopping me before I could move from the tree.

“That sounds heartbreaking.” “It is the way of things sometimes,” she replied, shaking off the memory. She began to lather my hair with a herbal soap. “The vampire always proposes the union to the human. It is a tradition as old as the mountains. A plea, really. A way of saying, ‘Come, share my long life with me, for I cannot bear the years without you’.” Ugh, tradition. It is always so dramatic. Then I blinked, water dripping from my lashes. “The Ancient Blood Marriage? Would I have to do that too?”

Narfi stopped crossing his arms and then drank some blood from the wine glass before resuming his speech, "She is a mermaid and an Olmpha." "Olmpha?" Glinda looked flummoxed. She'd never heard of this word before. "What's an Olmpha, brother?" "An Olmpha is a creature that even a Lycan has to bow to. The sovereign of all werewolves. The minimum tails possessed by this sovereign are 2 and the max is double." Narfi explained. "Gosh. 4 tails?" she exclaimed in disbelief. "From your description, I'm sure you saw the smaller version of her Olmpha form."

After some time, the fight reached a state of impasse because the two sides were of equal strength. One morning, I went to visit Olivia to ask her the number of victims of the Wouri River Pack. Suddenly, a werewolf entered the room, apparently with important news. "Alpha, there is a hybrid called Vincent who wants to see you. He says he has valuable information about vampires."

She collapsed as her feet grew cracking and brittling to form her long double jointed wolf legs, the ball of her foot, each side widening putting more agonising strain on her now shifting body. Tala saw blood, she didn't care where she will find it, but blood she will get! The vampire in front wanted to run but she had him in a second, taring at him first then took a large bite out of his shoulder... The blood. This was new blood! She wanted more of it! I almost wasn't able to stop myself but I knew I had to for her own sake. Vampires can see other people's emotions but they cannot feel them. We are naturally emotionless creatures that don't feel things. That's why vampires are one of the most dangerous creatures you could meet because they're completely merciless. The only emotion they're able to feel is lust. I have a few that I can feel specifically because I'm cursed to be the protector but others couldn't. For example the hurt I was able to feel when Maya assumed I was the one who injured her. I was her protector and she should've known that I would never hurt her in any way. Those are the kind of emotions that comes with the curse of

His face changed immediately to one of anger, he looked as if he had seen a long term enemy. "Welcome to my pack vampire Blade." Vincent said, staring at Blade, Blade stared at him in surprise, he was not expecting to see this man whom he has cut off his arm since the last previous years in the last war caused by Lucas and his pack.
