Alpha Nero

Alpha Nero

Focus, Ri. Legion Vega is sitting beside me, his sharp gaze fixed ahead. He’s Arkyn’s youngest, the one who doesn’t carry the baggage of Legacy’s reputation. He looks to be about eighteen or nineteen; tall and lanky. He has long blond hair, a stark contrast to Legacy’s black hair, and when I first saw him, the color of his eyes surprised me. One is the red of his Lycan, the other is purple. “His hybrid status is still in question,” Arkyn had said. “We’ve met his Lycan and tailed beast, but that doesn’t explain the purple eye.”

I absolutely loved the Leonettis! This book contains 3 stories, and all of them are full of twists and secrets that will have you pulling your hair, but they're also full of heartwarming moments that will definitely have you swooning. Another great work by J Tarr!

Via's Masterpiece

Via's Masterpiece

She was amazed at the various shades that it offered; the wonder of ombre colors that it created, from the stunning shades of pale blue, regular blue, dark blue, light blue-green to dark green, and so on in other groups of pigments. "You can get one and draw your favorite cartoon character. Just make sure to take care of it." Erika continued to speak even if Via never minded her words. "Only make sure to take care of it. I secretly stole it from my sister," Angela whispered with a smile on her face.

Brown

Brown

I wanted to go back but didn't want to stay alone because as long as I was with my family, I was happy. *** "Pink or yellow?", asked Ama as she held the pencil colors for me to see. I pretended to think before answering. "Blue" a frown graced her delicate features as she replied "Princesses don't wear blue" she said choosing to go with the yellow and ignore my advice. "Who says blue isn't a princess color?" I asked feigning interest "Everyone". I rolled my eyes at the vague answer. "Don't say 'everyone' if it's just your friends who say so" she made to speak but I cut her off

RAINBOW

RAINBOW

Why are some people like that? Alice, just like some people I've come across, seem to be only interested in comparing themselves with other people they meet. I don't know what everyone else would make of it but I think, it's actually inferiority complex. It drives them to want to showcase all good things that's happened to them and ask if you've had something like that as well. And when the answer is negative, they feel this sense of fulfillment. It would be understandable if I hated Alice but I didn't. It's only humane to patronise a cast down soul. I continued my little journey and when I got there, he wasn't there. Much to my chagrin. I had to admit that I would really love to see him aga

Vermilion

Vermilion

For the past centuries, Soles from either sides hadn't found the Vermilion yet. This Vermilion was the one power that could stop the other. This was the reason as to why the world had still been experiencing two opposing forces; light and dark, good and evil. Because no one had succeeded in finding the power source Vermilion yet. This was the reason why the Vermilion was so important to be found and be kept, especially by the Ibawnons, so as to maintain the balance of the world. For if the Malignobons would have it, nothing but darkness and chaos would surely be spread to the whole world.

Stained

Stained

He smoldered with resentment, rage flowing through his veins like lava, his throat was closed, and the not in his stomach got tighter and tighter by the minute, so did the harden in his chest. They finally took her, they touched what belonged to him, Damien laughed out ferociously, his eyes resembling that of a barbaric animal tasty for blood, he licked his lip truculently. Seemed like they desire nothingness because Damien Martinez would bring it to them. He could make their wish come true, he would gladly send them to hell after giving them heaven.

So far, am really really enjoying myself while reading this book and Damien really makes my insides turn and twist in a good way. I'm really loving the characters especially Bell and Damien, Mystique is a little bit too slow but am sure in time she'll rise up as the main character

OPAQUE

OPAQUE

Ryu effortlessly removed his jacket and draped it over the back of his chair, settling in comfortably. Ryu frequently goes to this bar whenever he found himself having a hard time working on his ideas and creativity, which seemed to be a common occurrence for him. He was particularly fond of the establishment's relaxed ambiance and the profound conversations that ensued among the customers after they had indulged in a few drinks. "The coffee they serve here is exceptional," Ryu remarked, breaking the silence. Yuka nodded in agreement, inhaling the rich scent of coffee that permeated the air. The bar initially served only alcoholic beverages, but due to popular demand, the management decided

HE REJECTED ME, SO I TOOK HIS CROWN

HE REJECTED ME, SO I TOOK HIS CROWN

"It is a basic botanical reduction reaction, Alpha Blackwood. The sap of this specific leaf remains entirely neutral against cured, historic ink that has sat and dried for days. However, it violently reacts with active, unevaporated moisture. The fact that this text just turned a vivid purple proves a definitive, irrefutable chemical truth... this specific ink was brewed, handled, and written within the last twenty-four hours." With a sharp, dismissive flick of my wrist, I dropped the purple-stained ledger right at Elara’s trembling feet. The heavy leather hit the floor with a dull, final thud. "No... no, that's a trick! She's using witchcraft!" Elara shrieked. She scrambled frantically back

Paint My World Red

Paint My World Red

I assured her. I puckered my lips, pointing to my cup, but when she did not move, I realized she was waiting for my instruction. She only moved when I said French press and prepared my coffee on the beverage cart. Except for Wilma and Dante, all of them seemed afraid of Red Carlington. If only I could prove to them that Red is a kind-hearted person, a delectable being, which I think they knew already, and had a soft spot for every member of his home, but it would probably take time. My head turned to Ariana when she called me. “Aya, did you just do that to your hair?”
