“I'm simply saying… cleaning the tables isn't a good punishment for Bambi. I might as well dig into her personal life if it was only going to get me this minimal consequences,” Principal Riles gasped silently and moved her seat backwards. “You should be the last person talking about invading personal space. Remember what you did to Steve. That could have gotten you in jail if your parents didn't handle it well,” “So I'm just gonna watch Bambi prance around school like she did nothing?” She sighed heavily and clasped her hands on her table. “I'm sorry, but that's the only thing I can do. Like your father, Bambi's parents are also part of the school board. I can't go against either one of them

“If you’re just going to keep repeating the same thing, mom, then you might as well leave.” “Are you seriously throwing your own mother out? And for that woman, no less?” Anne sounds shocked—hurt, even. “Wonderful, son. Absolutely wonderful. This is what I get for wanting the best for my children. Tell me, which part of what I said was so wrong? Am I wrong for calling her blind and useless? Come on, Hunter, at least be honest with yourself. You can’t even expect that woman to make you a simple cup of coffee. Hell, you can’t trust her to hand you a glass of water without spilling it everywhere. And let’s not forget—she can’t even give you a child—”

She momentarily closed her eyes, cherishing this precious moment before gently extracting herself. Looking back and forth between them, her face illuminated with happiness. "How was your day at school, honey?" "It was good, Mommy. We missed you," Blair replied softly, locking her emerald eyes with her mother's, a striking trait she inherited from her father and Alexa's ex-husband, Jordan.

“He’s so sweet, I sometimes forget we’re dating. Then I remember he’s actually mine.” At that point, my teeth could fall off. The three of them giggled, nudging each other cutely. “That’s so cute.” The blonde girl sighed. “I wish someone looked at me the way he looks at you in that teaser.” “Hmn-hmn.” I nodded quickly—forcing a smile. Then the brunette’s eyes caught something behind me. Her expression shifted, more sharper like she’d found something more interesting. “Oh look, that’s Connor Chen.” She grabbed the blonde’s wrist. “We should go say hi. His dad donated half a million to the athletic program.”

Outside, Bree could feel the temperature cooling down as they sipped their tea. She had ditched Grayson’s coat when she came into the house, and though she felt the cool breeze on her skin, it didn’t feel cold, thanks to the hot beverage that kept her warm. They talked about her mother, and Bree appreciated Grayson for being observant. She was bothered that there was so much of her father in her that her mother had disappeared. “Did I tell you that my parents aren’t both wolves, either?”

⋅ ⋅ ❦ Blaire Rose ❦ ⋅ ⋅ We spent the entire day preparing for the dinner. My parents were a chaotic mix of anxiety and raw excitement at the prospect of meeting the Alpha King of the Trifang Pack. My mother was the worse of the two; despite how stingy she usually was with money, she spared no expense today. We went to the best salon in the city for hair, nails, and a full skin treatment.

Remembering the photo in the frame, I picked it up. It's a photo of Blaire, me and her mom, Penelope. I remember this day. One of my teachers called my dad because Blaire and I were laughing and distracting the class and I was not ready to go home yet. So Blaire's mom took me with them to the park. Blaire and I were 14 in this picture and she still had her blonde hair that she inherited from her mom. But she and her dad share the same chocolate eyes. Penelope was hugging us both with a huge smile on her face and Alaric took the photo. That was a fun day until I had to come back home.

He questions. "By the look of her, she isn't feeling pain." Luke said in astonishment. "Should we stop her?" Aaron asked. "If you want to die then surely go and disturb her." A student said. "He's right. Did you forget what that blonde girl said yesterday?" Noah said and shrugged his shoulders. "Her family is from the mafia, So let's just leave her." Luke said, patting Aaron's shoulder. Aaron glanced at Valencia then her hand. He made up his mind and opened the gym door and went inside.

Remembering that morning still puts a smile on my face, in my brief time living with the two of them it was a little amusing to see how childish they tend to get when they’re arguing over something. Her eyes widen in surprise and she throws her head back in laughter. “Damn, I wish I was there to see that. The thing is, somehow our family bloodline is kind of special, don’t ask me why but it just is. So, dad and aunt Dana are like the only subs able to control their actual element.” “Okay, my mind is official blown.” I groan, shaking my head. Falling back on my bed with a bounce I roll to my side. “What about these Elites of society you guys keep talking about, are they okay with your parent’

They were the most dangerous lot – people that could be bought with money. “I would learn to trust you,” my father nodded. “But there’s a little issue. I got the picture of your parents. I didn’t see that of the girl.” “Ariel?” Aaron scoffed. “She’s just a fucking weirdo. She wouldn’t give you any problems.” “Who said?” my father asked. He pressed a button and a picture appeared on the screen immediately. I stared at the picture. It was a girl, about my age with really long brown hair and the most alluring pair of eyes I had ever seen.
