Slowly, she heard a knock on the door as she could see Patty sticking her head in before she entered fully. She had a petite frame and she was a bit skinny but pretty. She was in her early twenties, she had long blonde hair, a tanned skin and she was wearing a casual shirt and a straight skirt. “What took you so long?” Brixlee muttered as Patty rushed to her side. Patty threw her a thin smile. “I’m so sorry, I got caught in traffic. We still have five minutes. I’ll set up the live audio thingy while you rehearse” she said as she slowly brought out some cable and connecting the headphones.

Patty, a lady I'm interviewing lets out a sad laugh as she narrates her story and I nod in understanding, urging her to continue. "He' goes to these long business trips and to be honest , I think he's lying to me. He keeps on getting these strange calls and he only answers them when he's out..." I make a cringing face as if in pain, showing my sympathy as the audience lets out a series of dramatic gasps and shocked faces as others show knowing faces , courtesy of Troy. "I just want to be sure of what I'm getting myself into, you know." Patty says, her voice chocked by a sob threatening to come out.

He stretched his hand for a handshake, and I took it. He has a firm grip, but his hands are cold, so fucking cold, just like Echo’s touch. “I am sorry to ask but are you a…” “Ghost? Absolutely.” He answered before I could even complete my questions, that explains why they can both see each other but does this mean that I can see all ghosts because I initially thought that I could only see Echo. “We met yesterday when she was sad and alone and we have been friends since then.” I feel terrible that I put her in that position, but I am glad she’s okay and she’s back. Adrian though, he is different. He is actually cooking, touching and holding things, how is that even possible.

When I turned back around, I noticed a new note pinned to the table. It was the same familiar handwriting, but the strokes seemed to carry a hint of chill this time. "Squanderer." I froze, then started laughing out loud. So this ghost couldn't just cook—she was also a thrifty, budget-conscious woman. I liked that. I immediately grabbed a pen and wrote back, "Sorry, Ivy. I was just joking. From now on, let's stick to regular dishes. I won't bring up such ridiculous things anymore." I made sure to apologize sincerely.

The man who invested in PHT because he had the money and was willing to take the risk so I'm fucking sure he was able to buy the place. Some staffs are glaring at us when we enter, and I keep my head up, and stay a straight face. I catch Kay from the side of my eyes, and she's gasping at me. Her eyes wide and I nearly wink at her, but keep my cool. I see Mitchell walk out of the elevator, in a top to bottom red outfit. She's so bright and colorful, it's making me nauseous. Wait! If Fabrico bought this whole place for me then, I can fire Mitchelle, or turn her into my own personal secretary, only I'm scared she'd poison my coffee while I'm not looking. Fire her then!

I call ghost, he got more than one skill, and opening closed-door virtual and real ones are one of his many skills. He uses his key locks tools and messes with the door for a bit until it opens. Finally, I walk down with ghost behind me, I find a small girl laying naked on the floor. She's thin, too thin, her blond hair match mine only hers is dirty and matted on her head. Her blue eyes are hardly open, I can see bruises all over her fragile body. Taking off my shirt I cover her quickly and pick her up leaving this hell behind. "You're safe now baby sister" I whisper in her ears she closes her eyes letting darkness take her.

I watch her eyes narrow as a look mixed with sadness and longing comes into them. "Hey, Matt," Leigh calls. Matt is fiddling around with the massive screen in front. "What movie are we seeing today?" He turns around, a heavy cashmere coat draped over his shoulders. With those wide shoulders and gigantic form, he has the look of an evil overlord, complete with his signature scowl. "It's Ghostbusters." "Frozen empire?" Leigh asks in a chirpy voice. Matt's brows furrows. "Uhh…yeah." "Yay!" Leigh claps her hands excitedly. "I've always wanted to see Ghostbusters."

Patty grinned and said, “OK then, let's goan see the sexy bitch.” “Bitch? That appears to be an unfitting name,” Carmen said, and tried to zip her bag. “You got your main strap and your skimpiest swimsuit in there?” Patty said. Darn it all, she could have done without anybody knowing her so well. “I don't own any of those,” she said. Patty squinted her right eye and crushed her lips to the left. “Right, presumably don't also own a vibrator.” “Vibrator, what's that?”

Meggy reminded her as she was scooped up and deposited on the countertop. “A little thing you like you?” Patsy asked, shaking her head again. “I don’t think one gingersnap is liable to make you anything, except for maybe a little less sad.” She produced a cookie out of a jar labeled “Flour” and Meggy’s face lit up a bit as she took a nibble, hoping her mother didn’t walk in. “Now, I suspect eavesdroppin’ on your uncle and your mother is a good way to get yourself into quite a bit of trouble, little miss,” Patsy reminded her, looking sternly into her large blue eyes.

I drank my hot chocolate together with Patty who was watching some dog videos with Sheena on her phone. I grab my phone from the cabinet and browse on my f******k account trying to catch up some gossips. I might have been infected by the gossiper's virus call ' gossip '. I end up scrolling to the f******k videos and watch some clips of funny and other video genre. "Let's eat," Patty said. I wasn't able to notice that she already prepared and my ears already hear laughs from my mouth. "You seem to enjoy." Patty stated. "Yeah, watching some funny clips." I answered and stroll to the table and shifting my seat, facing Patty.
