*Jaedon’s POV* “You’re saying war?” My best friend and Beta, Peter Normandy raised his eyebrows at me. Peter and I had met when we were children. Our pack, Snow Creek, had taken over his own pack Everforest. Now, the remaining joined us and pledged their loyalty. It hasn’t been a terrible thing for them though. We didn’t have to kill anyone. Their Alpha had been sick and the sickness was spreading. He asked us to take over the healthy of their pack so it wouldn’t have to die off. Our Alpha at the time obliged.

I don’t really understand what it is because almost half of his explanation was in the form of sound effects but it doesn’t really matter because he seems satisfied with me just flying around making the occasional airplane noise. A few minutes later Maddy and Charlie come in to the room and says, “Ah, I see you’ve been introduced to Paw Patrol. Careful, he’ll suck you into that for hours.” “Oh good, can’t wait.” “She’s being Skye!” Seth says excitedly. “He must like you. Skye is his favourite,” she says with a wink. “Oh wow, I’m honoured,” I say with a grin. At that moment, the front door opens and a woman, who I assume is Maddy’s mom walks in saying, “Who’s car is in front of our house?”

Paisley spun and leaped, steel studs on her boot soles sparking against the ground. Her whip lashed out like a living thing, ensnaring a granite target twenty paces away. Her left arm suddenly shifted, gray wolf fur bristling with veins, wolf claws gripping the whip handle tightly. With a muffled roar, spiderweb-like cracks spread across the rock surface. As chunks fell away, they revealed the Dragon Ash's ice-pattern insignia embedded within—a provocative display of a wolf's trophy.

Heavy footsteps retreated, followed by muffled conversation. A pause. Eternal. My legs trembled, still wrapped around the stranger's waist. "Maybe she slipped out already?" "Shit. Boss ain't gonna like that." "Let's check the east wing again." The voices faded, leaving only the pounding of my heart and the warmth of the stranger's body against mine. I sagged against the wall, relief flooding through me. The masked man's hand slipped from my mouth, trailing fire down my neck. "That was close," I whispered, voice shaky.

--- Rage followed Rex on his first patrol into the North. The grey wolf was too old to run much anymore. But its grandson, the small grey wolf Sylvan had brought back from the forest, was already grown. Rage had named him Firepaw—for the patch of dark red fur on his right front paw. He walked behind Rex with Firepaw at his side, across the ice plains for a whole day. When he returned, his boots were covered in frozen soil and ice chips. He ran to Luna and held up the small handful of thistle root tendrils clutched in his fist for her to see.

I was about to be mauled to death. "It's okay..." I say tensely. My body trembling with fright. "Here, you can have him back. You see I was protecting him. There was an eagle and it was going to get him but he's okay. See, you're welcome..." Slowly but surely I put Poppy back onto the floor and it padded towards his mother. Yet, the mother still growled. I backed up... "Where is Paw Patrol when you need em'." The dog barked, hard and loud, and I didn't grasp the level of stupid I am until that very moment when I pointed at the dog and yelled, "Bad dog!"

The room looked vibrant and exciting, just like Derek's favorite show. Next, we planned some Paw Patrol-themed games and activities. We set up a mini obstacle course in the backyard, inspired by the show's rescue missions. The kids could crawl through tunnels, jump over hurdles, and balance on a beam with their parents' help of course. We also prepared a Pin the Badge on Chase game, where the kids would be blindfolded and try to stick a Paw Patrol badge on a poster of Chase. For the food, we decided to incorporate both themes. We made surfboard-shaped sandwiches and served them with Paw Patrol-themed snacks like Paw Patrol-shaped cookies and dog bone-shaped pretzels. We also made a Paw Patro

She looks at me as if asking what the hell I'm talking about. "That friendly gesture with that girl!" I stated. "What? Is it bad to be good?" she asked back. "Haha! No, it is not, It's just not like you" "Lol! I think Rox is kind! We can befriend her!" "Don't know! As you've said, she's kind so we're complete opposite" I saw her shake her head at what I said. I just shrugged. The great Black approaches someone and treats her nicely. I don't know what's on that woman that she was able to captivate Black.

Elias raised his arm covered in steel to support it. Unexpectedly, one jumped behind Lily, it opened its mouth full of long, pointed fangs, drooling at Lily. She screamed in despair, reaching out her right hand towards the beast. Suddenly, a beam of light from the red crescent-shaped birthmark in the center of Lily's right palm hit the beast. Both animals were immediately drawn to the roadside stand of two stone statues. Neither Lily nor Elias understood what was happening. Lily's body seemed to exude that power, so she lost her strength and fainted. Elias whirled around, taking her in his big palm.

I tried to explain our relationship and it still stood afar watching me warily and raising it's injured paw. It looked even worse than the last time I saw it and my heart hurt. "Isabella! How can you just leave the car and run away like that? You were lucky that there was no one behind us." Luka chided from the edge of the alley. "What are you even doing here?" He asked again. I took more steps towards the dog and while it kept barking and whining in pain it was no more running away till I got to where it was sitting. "Hey buddy." I patted it's hair softly, aware that the dog looked a mess right now, but knowing how much the dog needed comfort.
