Hunted
My heart raced as I saw him, dragged into the room by two wolves, his body struggling against their hold.
“Let him go!” I growled, anger burning through me as my vision blurred with rage.
The wolves ignored me, throwing Riley against the wall. They chained him up beside me, and Ryder crouched in front of him, holding up a piece of chain.
“Silver,” Ryder said, grinning. “No breaking out of this one.”
Before I could react, Ryder punched Riley in the gut, hard enough to make him double over. My entire body went rigid, the sound of Riley’s pained grunt stabbing through me like a knife.
