TRADING MY CHEATING HUSBAND FOR THE LYCAN KING

TRADING MY CHEATING HUSBAND FOR THE LYCAN KING

She coughs, her confidence evaporating instantly. “Peninsulas,” she says weakly, drawing a frantic shape in the air. “I meant peninsulas. The landmass. Surrounded by water on three sides. Because… you are an island of knowledge in a sea of ignorance. It was a metaphor. And… anatomically—geographically! Geographically, a peninsula is a very strong landmass. It just… it juts out. Very prominently. Just… thrusting out into the wetness. A firm, rocky protrusion just… hanging out there…” She stops.

On chapter 231, absolutely amazing story. Great character building, stellar plot twists, VERY well written and perfect descriptive words. I cannot recommend this book enough, oh & most of the chapters are a good length too!

I’m only 52 chapters in and I’m absolutely hooked!!! There are characters I love and am pulling for and characters who make me so angry that I just want to kill them! Kudos, Remi!!! You are a true author, not just a writer!

Mated to my Brother's First Love

Mated to my Brother's First Love

I took the piece of paper from him and nodded, "Yes, sir." Ezekiel dismissed us, and we left his office, relieved that it was over. Later in the afternoon, Aiden, Penelope, and I sat down together at one table during lunchtime, I couldn't help but notice the excitement in Penelope's eyes as she held a worn-out book in her hands. "What's that book you've got there?" Aiden asked, looking over at her. "It's the last known book of witches," Penelope said, beaming with joy.

Pregnant For My Husband's Enemy

Pregnant For My Husband's Enemy

There were gaps in the shelves where books had been taken and not yet returned, and a reading chair beside the window that was worn in a way nothing else in the penthouse was worn — the leather softened and shaped by years of a specific body in a specific position. I went in. The books were eclectic in a way that felt revealing — architectural history beside Russian novels beside dry financial texts beside poetry collections so heavily annotated in pencil that the margins had their own conversations. I ran my finger along a row of spines and stopped at a name I recognised. Pulled the book out.

Not Just Penelope

Not Just Penelope

I called but nobody answered. Is she asleep? But it's already past 1pm! "Penelope?" I called again. I grabbed the door knob and tried to open it. IT'S UNLOCKED. I peeked inside and the first thing I saw was a huge pink bed. "Penelope?" I called again and decided to come inside. I walked towards the left side of her bed and saw a table with a row of picture frames. One was a little Penelope maybe around 6 or 7 years old, wearing a long pink gown and a high heels that is obviously not hers. It's too big for a kid like her in this picture.

The Bookstore Temptation

The Bookstore Temptation

But she… didn’t flinch. Lena walked over to a little table display and picked up a thin, cloth-bound book. She walked over to him, holding it out like an offering. *The Quiet Between Lightning Strikes.* A poetry book. The cover was old and nubbly, the title scribbled in fine silver ink. Julian stared at it like it was an alien thing. "What's this?" "A book," she said, smiling. "I told you. I don't—"

Penelope

"I really should get going.." "I just want to talk. I'll make it quick. We can go anywhere you want."I was practically on the verge of begging and I think she liked it. She liked having me at her mercy. Only she could ever have it that way. With hands in my pockets I walked alongside her, but her attention has been on the sea creatures behind the glass since we set foot inside the aquarium."The aquarium. I thought maybe a coffee shop.. But never here." "I like it here. Penelope and I come here most weekends. She likes the fish.. Well all animals actually."

When you have to wait for long periods of time to read 1 short chapter it takes away from the enjoyment of reading the book. By the time a new chapter comes out, I have forgotten the other short chapters.

If Jamie is killed off in this storyline then what's the point. She's the fantastic female character that you want to know what going to happen between her & Mason. She's been through enough, now this tragic scenario ... happens. Come on now give her a HAPPY ENDING.

SINFUL INDULGENCE BOOK 2

SINFUL INDULGENCE BOOK 2

she said, smiling happily at the thought of their first grandchild. “Hopefully, ma. By the way, I’m here to get my books.” “The ones by Jakara Blue? Yes, it’s on the bookshelf in your room.” Later in my room, I indeed saw about ten books by Jakara Blue that were arranged neatly on a shelf. I picked one of them and traced the embossed author’s name with my finger. This explained why I used the name Jakara Blue as my new name in Japan. It must be because I was an avid reader of Jakara Blue’s books. Remembering about my purpose in coming here, I started opening the folders that were arranged on another corner of the shelf. I had the habit of placing important documents in a folder.

Jacob laughed. “I’ll kick your ass too!” I said as I glared at him. “Kris! We have one more surprise for you.” Penny yelled from behind my front desk. “What?” I looked confused. She walked out carrying a massive book. I recognized what it was right away. It’s the type of book that you use for a portfolio. “You got me a new book?” “Kinda.” Penny showed me the cover. It had a Black Moon with two wolves howling. The leather was fresh as I could smell it. Alec took the cover and opened it for me.
