There were men and women, voices filled with anxiety and fear. Someone reached out to touch me. It wasn't Kael. It was a softer, warmer touch, checking my eyelids, my pulse. "The Luna is in shock, her heart rate is dropping rapidly!" "We need to stabilize her spirit immediately." "Quick, get the moonstone elixir!" "No! Her wolf is going dormant!" What happened? Were they talking about me? Is my wolf, Selene, dying? I didn't know. I only felt my eyelids getting heavier, so incredibly sleepy.

It’s body shudders as the light goes down, burning it from the inside out.

J’s POV One minute I was hearing the bones crack and the next minute, I was seeing something my eyes could not believe I was seeing nor did my ears believe I was hearing. A man transforming like a movie ‘Transformer’ into a monster. With my eyes wide and my legs rooted to the ground, I watched the monster completely transform from a man to a beast with four legs. This cannot be real… I am dreaming. The loud scream caused me to forcefully come out of my daze, as I turned I saw more of them.

It beat frantically, and Mallory was already out of breath. Mallory panicked. “What’s happening?” She asked weakly, and when she looked up, she saw the others with twisted expressions on their faces. Looking at that, Mallory knew that they were experiencing the same. The person in front of her hunched, and slowly, his clothes started to tear, and his fur emerged on his skin. He was turning into his wolf. Mallory was delighted to see that, and when she saw another one changing their appearance, she hopefully looked at her hands after feeling that the pain was going on for a while, but to her surprise, her hands and arms still looked the same. Nothing had changed.

"What prophecy? What's happening?" Before Selene could answer, a loud, piercing scream echoed through the square. All eyes turned to the source—a young woman, standing at the base of a monument, her arms raised to the sky. As the shadow of the eclipse moved across her, her form began to shift and shimmer, and she transformed into a creature of pure darkness, her eyes glowing a fierce red. The transformation wasn’t isolated. All around the square, similar transformations began. The townspeople, once familiar, were morphing into shadowy entities, their features twisted with rage.

JOSH POV Dozens upon dozens of muscular men and women are racing toward the main house, all eyes trained on me. As they get closer, I think I’ve lost my damn mind when many of them shred through their clothing and begin running on four legs. They even have fur. Oh God!! Holy fuck!!! They just turned into animals!! I’m dreaming, right? I’m having a nightmare. That must be it, because there’s no way, IN REAL LIFE, that people suddenly turn into animals!
