Dimitri turned around, brows lifting slightly. Zoe walked over, all four feet of her confidence on full display, and handed it up to him. He looked down at the drawing. Three stick figures stood in front of a black square labeled "HOME". One had long curls. One had a crown. The third had very sharp shoulders and icy blue eyes drawn in clumsy marker. Above them, Zoe had drawn a yellow sun with a big smile and the word "US" in careful, crooked letters. Dimitri held the paper like it might explode.

So that means getting going now. Having a blank page for a commission, and getting started on it, that’s two different things. My tutor, Mrs Bird, as a Sergeant Major in a feathery rainbow uniform, strutting around bellowing orders. Jade as a crow, teaching crow martial arts to a bunch of baby crows. Mary in a Cinderella ball gown. Reese as a tiger. Tom as a warrior fairy, with dragonfly wings and a silver rapier.

“Who did the artwork?” Junior perked up a little. “I did. This one’s a dragon. See the teeth?” Nevena leaned in slightly, squinting. “A fire breathing dragon. I love it.” He pushed out a real smile, “Can you draw?” he asked. “Stick figures and crooked stars. But I’m a fast learner.”She replied with a shrug. Unhesitatingly, Junior dug in his backpack, pulling out a marker, and handing it to her like a silent invitation.

But that wasn’t what he was drawing today. There was a picture of two girls—rendered crudely in crayon, but still identifiable as girls. One of them had short blond hair and the other had long brown braids. Their hands were on their faces and their mouths open in screams. David had drawn these as big black circles. A huge black shadow hovered before them, a shapeless body with red eyes and clearly defined hands. The hands looked like long silver knives. There were many drawings before this one. Lauren wondered how long David had been at it.

Chris laughed awkwardly, “not as much hidden talents, as working at a school and having to do art projects when I started. I can draw some animals. See if you like them?” I shrugged, “let’s see what you fucking got.” Chris went to draw some animals on a paper to show me, while the rest went to work and painted the room pink. April said it was a light pink or what ever the fuck the color is called. It was pink. Suddenly Kane came up with the brilliant fucking idea to look up templates on the computer. “What about like butterflies? Or ladybugs? Or dragonflies? Those much be easier than a whole animal?” Kane said.

Going up the stairs, I was able to make it to get the art supplies before heading back. “You made it in thirty seconds to spare.” Alec muttered as I came back in. “Oh shoot, let me try again.” I joked as I sat down. Pulling out the sketch pad, I froze. What should I draw? My mind went to Ace and his dad planting the tree today. So, I started drawling what I think his tree would look like when it was fully grown. A massive Elm tree. One full of life with thick branches. The whole thing took me till lunch to complete.

Such a childish and girly tantrum. I covered my face. This was truly embarrassing. It was a good thing that I am the only person seeing this. The people were large and filled most of the page, and the colors were bright and bold. On the left was a small figure with long black hair. Mom. Lucy had written it underneath in large, careful letters. In the middle was a smaller figure with curly black hair.

Stacy just sighed as she stared at her, Not bothering to disturb her, She brought out her Sketch pad and began to draw. " Am Done. Let's go! " Jemmy announced a few minutes later. When she didn't get any reply, she closed her books and removed her reading glasses before looking over at Stacy, and then she found that the latter was drawing. Being a super curious girl, she moved closer to the latter and pecked at what the latter was drawing. Jimmy couldn't help but gasp in amazement when she saw what the latter was drawing, the latter was drawing the picture of a Celebrity, one that is loved by them both, Billie Yves.
