Mom punched his face and it stunned Percy for a second until he punched my mom back. "Oh my God—-" I was about to run close to mom but dad tightened his grip on my arm. Dad nodded at me, assuring me that everything was just alright. I gasped. How could everything be alright? My husband was dead, my friend was dead, and now I was hearing things I never even knew about. Percy— Percy is my mom's brother, so basically he is my uncle? "Why are you doing this, Percy?" Mom took a deep breath.

She just gave them an apologetic smile and pulled out her book out of her bag to return to the world of modern Greek gods. Tessa’s words echoed through her head, as she thought about the possible existence of alternate universes. Excitement flooded her body. What if they are real?

Alternate Universe Peerce knitted his brows. If he dont say it now then there will be no place for him to cry later if his office is messed up again but by the twins' own hands. He half-opened his mouth but before he could say anything, a loud bang happened to where he mostly stacked an important document from. Blue fire still loomed around the papers but it didn't burn them but still, Peerce couldn't care less anymore.

The pages began to turn on their own, a blurred storm of parchment and ink, "You see, in the new history I’m writing, you never made it to this mill. You never even left the pack house. You never even fell in love with Darius.” He slammed the book shut. Suddenly, the world around me began to blur. The sound of the saws faded into a dull hum, and the honey-coloured wood of the mill started to grey and rot before my eyes. The heat vanished, replaced by a biting, supernatural cold.

This was frightening to think of. Time was one of those things even magic can't alter. So, there was no way the world got forwarded by five years. Other than this, there was only another thing she could think of. This wasn't the same world as the one she lived as Seraphine; there were high chances it could be an alternate world with the same characters and storyline. Since she could transmigrate into a novel, this could happen as well. Seraphine was grateful to the immense amount of fictional books she read for her imagination.

But nothing worked. The magic inside me was becoming wilder. “Make it stop,” I whispered. Percy’s attention snapped fully back to me. “Hey.” His voice softened instantly. “Look at me.” I tried. Goddess, I tried. But my vision blurred painfully while more visions flashed through my head. I saw silver fire swallowing forests whole. I saw wolves kneeling beneath a black throne. I saw Lucius standing over my father while blood covered the ground beneath them. Then I saw the brothers. I saw Darren covered in blood, Ken screaming my name and Percy holding my body while silver magic exploded around us.
