The heart that beat only for me. My eyes snapped open underneath a white ceiling. I opened my mouth as I gasped to take in a breath. Even with my eyes open, more and more memories flooded into my head. At every turn, Persephone was crying out for me. She was reaching out to me and I laughed to myself about how such a proud woman became a beggar. “It has to be a dream,” I muttered to myself, stuck in a pool of sweat with Persephone’s sweet scent surrounding me. “It has to be a dream.”

Adrian roared, his voice getting dangerously low at the end glaring at Lily. He sat down to watch as their torment. Lily whimpered, tears freely flowing down her face, her big brown eyes pleading as other children completely froze, their face becoming pale with fear,huddled in the corner with their eyes blown wide. "PERSEPHONE!" A scream of pure agony tore through Lily's heart as the man came closer to her. 'My Queen... Luna....your people need you.... Persephone.' Persephone rose from her sleep drenched in sweat, her hair a tangled mess, a sheer silk cloth adoring her physique with her heart beating wild..who was that?

That night when Mikey broke up with you, I was awakened by your pain and not love, making me remember the pain that I had experienced.

After getting tired of her handmaiden's gossips, Persephone decided to slip away and find a spot where she could be alone. Across a stream through a grove of trees to a little glade, the birds sang and flowers danced as Persephone strolled through the path. She carried her paint pot along since she had seen a stand of tall waxy pale iris and lilies she had decided to stripe. It was her joy to paint their faces with colors she thought was best fitted for each kind.
