"So Attorney it looks like the news is real that you're busy right now" that Fredd guy stated with playfulness. Xenoah laughed before wrapping his hand around my waist. "What do you think?" he asked playfully. "Oh my ghosh!" the guy yelled and stood up still fanning with his hand. "You'll be breaking thousands of heart Attorney" he added.

Freya scrambles back to the corner and pulls the thin blanket tighter around her body as she trembles in fear. "Freya… I know what I look like, look at me," I softly speak, slowly I reach out and pull her chin up to meet my gaze. She whimpers and pulls away, I let the glamour reveal my face so she can see who I am. "Daddy!" Freya's body violently shakes when she throws herself into my arms with tears freely flowing down her face.

In all these years, I've seen Freddy only for a few times and those few times were enough for me to know why he doesn’t have a family for himself. He just talks less and stares more at anyone who ignores him or doesn’t consider talking with him. He has this dark three inch long scar across his nose, which seems like decades old. Long, uneven hairs that he neatly combs and the round thick glasses that he never takes off. Uncle Freddy doesn’t have any family as most of his blood relatives passed away long ago and for some reason he chose to be a bachelor and no one knows why. He and I didn’t share any kind of bond till now, he’s just a person whom I happened to know as a colleague of my father

Freddy didn’t look like she’d had more than one drink the night before, while Gemma’s head felt like it was about to explode. “Want to go for a jog with me?” Freddy asked, cheerful as ever. Gemma stared at her in mock horror. “Excuse me? Me—go jogging?” She grinned and held up one leg. “Um, my leg. I don’t run. And if I do, you’d better run faster, because something is chasing me. With those legs,”—she pointed at Freddy’s—“you’d leave me in the dust.” Freddy laughed. “If there’s a zombie outbreak, you think I’m tripping you?”

I slip into the leggings and sweater instantly feeling much warmer from the long simple t-shirt I was wearing previously. “Oh, you know… the rogue leader with bad teeth… I think you called him Hobbit Gallum?” A young teenage boy walks over to Freya with his cup, and she pours him some more water. She smiles at him with such love that it just fuels the fire in me even more to help these kids and Freya to escape.
