It made me almost cringe because it’s like it’s derived from a dozen gray wolf skin and sewed together in order to make a grand carpet for human feet to brush on.

Why am I here? This was no less than an extraordinary room. Where was I? It was the first thought that crossed my mind. Though the light was muted, it could be seen through. Out of four, the three walls were painted in a dominant pale blue colour. A floor-to-ceiling glass wall was on my left side, offering views of the rainforest beyond. The olive-white curtains were kept aside from the glass wall. Another window stood just opposite the bed.

She shrugged with an eye roll walking out of the room. They both walked through the hallway, taking some corners and arriving at a room. She walked out carrying a massive book. I recognized what it was right away. It’s the type of book that you use for a portfolio. “You got me a new book?” “Kinda.” Penny showed me the cover. It had a Black Moon with two wolves howling. The leather was fresh as I could smell it. Alec took the cover and opened it for me.

She disappeared, returning a minute later with what looked like a photo album. “What’s that?” I asked. “These are some pictures of weddings that we’ve helped outfit. Take a look through there and see if you like any of those color combos.” I took the book, standing with Cynthia by my side as I thumbed through the album. “Is it weird that I like the blue and black?” I asked. Cynthia shook her head. “Absolutely not. I love it. That royal blue is stunning against the black. I like it and I could see myself in a dress like that.”

The room was decorated in pink and blue. The room was a wonderland of colors and creativity, perfectly tailored for the twins. On one side, the walls were painted a soft pastel pink, adorned with delicate floral patterns and whimsical fairy decals. The bed, covered with a fluffy pink comforter, had a canopy draped in sheer, sparkly fabric, making it look like a princess’s bed. Plush toys, from unicorns to teddy bears, were neatly arranged on shelves, and a little vanity set complete with a mirror and tiny stool stood by the window.
