Yes, you may and mame if I may can I recommend the house sauce it's a secret recipe and makes the sandwich's irresistible. He says looking at me with dark eyes.

“It’s Alpha’s favorite. You might want to give that one to him. I made tuna salad for everyone else.” I took a bite of the sandwich and immediately regretted it. It tasted like sandpaper or maybe cardboard. It had a weird consistency with some kind of questionable meat. A full wave of the shakes ran through my body. Holding out the sandwich for Niru, he turned his head and I laughed. “What is this? Niru doesn’t even want it!” “It’s some weird protein packed peanut butter and some of those meat sticks cut in half. Then three slices of provolone cheese on rye bread.”

He hadn't even had a chance to grab breakfast, since he showed up at the shop so early to get a head start. Tony figured he'd go the easiest route and get a sandwich from Wawa or something. When he got there, he punched his usual order into the touchscreen computer. Nearly every time, he got a ten inch turkey and pepper jack hoagie with bacon, spinach, roasted sweet peppers, pickles, onions, mustard, oil and vinegar, salt and pepper. It was a classic combination that Tony had gotten nearly every time he ordered a sandwich for over a year. It was a delicious choice that stood the test of time. I have turkey and cranberry, or ham and cheddar.” “Ham and cheddar,” I chuckle, a small smile on my face. “Always cheddar.” It takes him no time to pack it up in wax paper, scribble my name on it, and bag it up before handing it to me. “Thanks, Eli,” I say, surprised to find I’ve enjoyed this quick lunch break, before grabbing my bag and walking out the door.

I lifted my eyes shyly, tucking a loose strand of hair behind my ear. "Does this fig have coconut?" I nodded. "No wonder it smells divine!" He boomed. "This is an Italian beef sandwich, right?" He asked, pointing at the sandwich. I didn't look, but I knew he was pointing. I was more focused on the boyish excitement on his face. He wasn't even looking at me.

He locks eyes with me, smiling behind his cup. “Oh and I have a request for lunch. Dad brought me this amazing sandwich from a shop near the hospital. Brady told me the name, but I forgot already.” “Jackie’s. You need to try the Reuben. It’s the best thing on the menu.” He smiles at me warmly. “That’s where you’re wrong. The Philly is by far the best.” Mrs. Darla cuts in, Aunt Cammie nodding in agreement. “I haven’t been there in ages! I need to get David to take me sometime soon.”

A bowl of fruit and a glass of milk completed the meal. For some time, I sat, biting my lip. I nibbled at the sandwich tentatively and sighed. It tasted delicious! The Puerto Rican sandwich brought back fond memories of childhood, for my mother had made it quite often. I nibbled at the food but then, gave in and ate it all. As I sat, sipping the cold milk, I heard the engine of O’Grady’s car revving up. Tiptoeing to the balcony, I peered through the curtains. Paige and O’Grady were leaving, and he grabbed her and kissed her before they got in and drove off in a cloud of dust. For some obscure reason, I felt like howling in pain…

And the colors are soft pastels, which I researched and know are the Senator’s favorites. Senator Hamilton is a down-to-earth kind of man. He never lived beyond his means. I tried to cater an event to his tastes, filled with flowers and natural displays. “Golden scones, can you imagine?
