Contract marriage: I am the daughter of my husband's enemy

Contract marriage: I am the daughter of my husband's enemy

When the pirates first realized the boy and I were officially together, the entire underground base nearly exploded. Luxe played music for three straight hours. Milo calmly announced, “You may share bedrooms now. But no funny activities.” Meanwhile, Varen loaded his shotgun so aggressively that Lucien literally ran through the tavern. While Varen chased him, screaming, “KEEP YOUR HANDS OFF HER!” “I WON’T!” “ARGHH!!” I laughed so hard I threw up afterward. Good memories, and tonight was supposed to become another one. The hidden waterfall I wanted to show him two months ago, beyond the eastern cliffs, waits for us. That’s where pirates perform blood vows, offerings, and promises. Because that

Tamed By My Stepbrother

Tamed By My Stepbrother

Another Ashford listed under the same yacht. No Drake. No Keira. But that didn’t mean anything. Drake wasn’t stupid. He would use aliases. Or someone else’s booking. “Which yacht is this?” I asked, tapping the paper. The clerk leaned forward. “Stella Maris.” “And its destination?” “Pearl Cove Island.” Pearl Cove. I had heard of it. Private. Exclusive. Isolated. The kind of place rich families used when they didn’t want to be found. My mind started connecting possibilities.

A Crown Cut with Salt

A Crown Cut with Salt

I made it determination and pretended it looked the same. "Two other lights," he went on, as if I hadn't nearly fallen into him. He traced a triangle with the pencil. "The chapel on the headland keeper can be bribed to hang a lantern. The South quay's pier master likes to smoke alone. He can be paid to do it where the wind will catch the ember." "Triangulate," I said, grateful for numbers. "A ship becomes a letter in a man's pocket. We read it." "We will," he said. He set bearings; the back of his hand brushed mine as he angled the pencil. Brief. Clean. The wire down my spine hummed like a plucked string. I focused on degrees until my pulse agreed to behave.

Whispers of the Pearl Curse

Whispers of the Pearl Curse

Jeffrey freaked out and shouted at me, "No way, this can't be happening. I'm sure I'm dreaming. In the real world, I'm cruising in fancy cars with more cash than I can burn." A guy traveling with us snickered, "He has been binge-watching too much TV. He's totally lost it!" When the big guy snorted, Jeffrey shot me a furious look. "Bracelet, Yasmine! Where's the pearl bracelet I gave you?" I fished it out of my pocket and tossed it down at Jeffrey's feet. "Is this what you're talking about?" I had already had the spell removed by a Spirit Priest after the old beggar got his wish. To play it safe, the priest even melted down the pearl bracelet.

HIS REJECTED GODDESS

HIS REJECTED GODDESS

Zane murmured, his chin resting on top of my head, his silver eyes tracking the receding ship. "No," I said softly, watching the silver sail catch the mid-morning sun, blazing like a localized star on the horizon. "They aren't taking it. They are sharing it." I looked down the line of the Vanguard. Cord was watching his iron glide peacefully over the waves. Kaden and Lyra were reading the momentum, their faces reflecting absolute, unadulterated hope. Isra was holding the heavy leather-bound ledger, already outlining the chapters of a world that was no longer confined to a single continent.

Honor Bound

Honor Bound

"Right." True to Clyde's assumptions, there was indeed a port after the dense forest. It was a trading place on Caelum and whether it was legal or not, they didn't have time to find out. The wooden sailboat that was worth three gold coins rowed pretty well. The breeze seemed to also be by their side because it assisted them well during their trip. They took shifts in rowing and so when Alessia woke up in the dead of night, she was greeted by Clyde peacefully hugging his knees while quietly guarding the two sleeping ladies. "It's my turn to keep watch, you can sleep now," Alessia muttered and sat upright beside him. Marika was softly snoring behind them. Even when deep asleep, the fairy emitt

Redeemed By My Lycan

Redeemed By My Lycan

" I have never felt so proud in my life, I raised my sword and it glowed so bright like a day. L had placed special magic that the more it was adored or the more I wanted it shone brightly like the stars. The villagers kept singing the song, they were many songs, to be honest. Songs of my praises and my exploits. I entered the ship and the pirates were scared to death. "Glowing Angel, are you here to bring judgment on us Pirates?" The captain of the ship asked. "Just take me to the island or die," I said. The Captain began sailing to Island.

The Evening Star

The Evening Star

Jack said thinking about the plan to have Rowling chase them into Hangman's cove. “Lanterns.” Claire said thinking out. “It should be dark enough that if we hung Lanterns from the crow’s nest that we would be able to see from afar. One lantern for just his single ship and two if there's more than one.” Claire continued explaining. “Aye that's perfect. You truly are amazing.” Jack said, looking at her with wonder. Claire blushed slightly as she brought her focus back down to the map. “I bet you're glad I let you kidnap me uh.” Claire said a playful smirk on her lips.

The Prince Who Was Raised in Hell

The Prince Who Was Raised in Hell

If they wanted to see each other more in the future, Lucy should improve together. "It shouldn't be long before we find that chance." Caspian put down the letter in his hand and looked at the bright sky outside the window, and he smiled. Handsome was already fast asleep. Now that he had his own home, Caspian also released Little Candy from the Earring of Echo. Little Candy looked at the new environment curiously and found Handsome sleeping. Then, the tiger also leaned over, squinted, and dozed off next to Handsome.

What happened to the original writer of this book? The new writer is a far cry from the first one in terms of style, creativity, dialogue and story telling. He has turned a once very arresting story into a very boring one. It is sad.

MOONHAVEN CHRONICLES: The Captive mate

MOONHAVEN CHRONICLES: The Captive mate

Maps are spread across the largest table before I even arrive. Connor dismisses everyone except the senior officers. “I want every location within five hundred miles of that gas station.” The room explodes into motion. Maps, satellite images, old trade routes, abandoned towns, warehouses, cabins, factories. Every possible location begins covering the table. I place Naya’s note in the center. Three dots, triangle. Someone suggests coordinates. Wrong. Another suggests constellations. Wrong. A third believes it’s a military marking. Wrong. Hours pass. One theory after another dies.
