Plain Sight 2 Novels & Stories

He needed to see through everything to find a solution, so he activated the Divine Clear Sight once more. "There it is." The Divine Clear Sight proved its power. Instantly, Adrian sensed everything around him, capturing every detail without missing a beat. Delighted, he grinned. "Haha, let's see what tricks you still have." With precision, Adrian saw through Bradley's every move. He realized that despite Bradley's powerful attack, he had left himself defenseless, focusing solely on offense. Adrian's tense muscles relaxed. He had figured out how to deal with Bradley.

The hooves of our horses awaken some of the people of my pack, causing them to peek out their windows and doors to see what the commotion is about. Before long, we reach the courtyard of the palace and begin to dismount. After a quick debriefing, I release the men to go home to get some rest. Turning, I focus on the woman at my side and find myself floored. Her hood has fallen back to reveal raven hair, the light of dawn causes rainbows to shimmer in the long strands. Her beauty takes my breath away, but that isn’t what truly floors me. Her eyes, her eyes are a dull shadow violet. She’s blind.

A great sacrifice must be paid for favor so great. With that thought in mind, I fought over the pounding in my head, succeeding to open my eyes. The first thing to come in sight was the mop of blond hair, lying beside me, her bare back exposed to me, half covered by the light sheet. I stared at the deep red lines that run down her fair skin, images of last night flashing in my mind. Anger, pain…that was all I could see.

He'd make a great hunter in the coming year. "Your hearing is astounding, I can only hear the birds and squirrels but you can hear for miles. Although you may not be able to see what you hunt, you can smell and hear them." Kate said smiling as she watched her brother look at her happily, his sightless blue eyes gleaming with happiness.

Sean reacted quickly, but his eyes were still slashed. "Argh!" He yelled in pain as blood gushed from his handsome face. Vivian was about to stab me next, but Michael pinned her to the ground. I called the police and the ambulance. Sean was taken to the hospital. His eyes were severely injured, but he sought treatment in time, so there was hope for him to regain his sight. As for when he could regain his sight—it would all depend on my previous medical publication.

I opened my eyes and saw the knife held firmly in a hand just inches from me. Following the line of his arm, I saw the seventeen-year-old Ryan appear in front of me. His abdomen was wrapped in thick bandages. His eyes were bloodshot with fury. He stared at the thirty-year-old Ryan with a gaze that shifted from anger to disbelief and, finally, to utter despair. He gripped the sharp knife tightly. Blood dripped from his hand. It fell into my eyes and blurred into a brilliant poppy flower.

And if I am not mistaken, did he just blush or something? He is still looking away, like there is something he is looking at and he is interested in it. But he is just looking at the rode obviously trying to avoid my eyes. His long beautiful eyelashes flex as he look at an opposite direction. The color of his eyes also brighten. It also highlighted the angle of his sharp jaws, and the pinkish color of his cheeks. His rep lips are looking so sweet- NO! What the freak Amira, stop! I slightly shook my head as I try to remove my worldly desires. Damn! Stop fantasizing!
