Plan A Novels & Stories

Alexander said. They went back to the spreadsheet. October the fourteenth. Fourteen months. The planning was a project and the project was real and the project had a date now, which made it specific in the way that projects needed to be specific in order to become real. A wedding was not just a project—it was a marriage, a commitment, a future—but the planning was the planning, and the planning required the same attention to detail as anything else that mattered. Elijah thought about October the fourteenth.

“Let’s begin our adventure!” * “Is this a good stopping point?” Jacob looks at his phone, brows furrowed. “I have an emergency at the clinic.” “Um, I guess so,” Rory says. We’ve been playing for nearly two hours and I’m having fun, though I won’t admit it. “Is everything okay?” “Maybe,” Jacob says, rising to his feet. Pluto, one of his rescue dogs, jumps up, panting as he follows behind. “Assuming my patient can get to me in time.”

Amira's first step was to create a business plan for her new perfume company. She knew that in order for her new business to be successful, she needed to have a clear plan and goals. She defined her target market, researched the competition, and determined her pricing strategy. She also thought about distribution and marketing, as well as the steps she would need to take to launch her business. With a solid plan in place, she was ready to move forward with her new venture.

Peter walked out. "Hey Robyn, you can close up we are done for the day. Cancel my ten o'clock tomorrow we're going somewhere till lunch." He said. "Where are we going?" "We have a meeting with the James Kasho the head of.." "Head of Planar companies. I know. I thought you disliked that guy." "I do not like him. But he has some information I need." "Alright. I'm on it." "Don't stay too long. Start closing now."

"That gives you time to get stronger before he leaves." "That's what I'm thinking." Paul immediately switched into planning mode. "Then we need a schedule." Jack raised an eyebrow. "A schedule?" "Yes. Therapy. Surgery. Recovery. Packing. Family arrangements. Travel." Lela groaned. "Dad." "What?" "I don't want to spend the next four months planning for Jack to leave." Paul softened. "I know." He looked at Jack. "But we have to plan." Jack nodded. "He’s right." Lela frowned. "You're supposed to be on my side."

Build a place where nobody could lock me out again. Thinking was over. It was time to start. I brought my leather notebook closer and opened it to my sixty-day plan. Water. Food. Medicine. Power. Shelter. Transportation. I looked at the list. Everything was important, but not everything mattered today. I crossed out the things that could be postponed. Better clothing could be postponed. Extra furniture could be postponed. Comfort could be postponed. I needed to focus on the things people would panic over first. The things they wouldn't realize they needed until it was already too late.

“I’ve spent the last few weeks analyzing market trends and customer feedback. Our company has a strong foundation, but I believe there are new directions we can explore that will bring sustainable growth.” She clicked the remote, and the projector illuminated the screen with clear charts and bullet points. She walked us through her plan step by step: new product lines targeted at younger demographics, strategic partnerships to expand our online presence, and a revamped marketing strategy that focused on social media engagement and brand loyalty. The details were solid, backed by data and thoughtful analysis.

“I can do the last part in case Iris needs help in transporting everyone out of the forest.” “Let’s have a short briefing first on the plan before we go. So we know what we should and should not do,” I told them. “Do you also have a floor plan?” Adessa asked. “It’s better if we have a map in our heads of which way we are supposed to go so we can execute this plan in a short period of time.” “Yes. We have,” I replied as I opened the drawer on my desk. Iris, as well as the three others, walked toward where I was.

"Every detail. Every contingency. If at any point the plan has a gap I'm not satisfied with, it stops." "Agreed," I said. "And you tell me everything Marcus gives you on Monday before we finalise anything. Whatever he knows about who's behind this goes into the planning." "Yes." He looked at me for a long moment. Then he looked at Dante. "Start building the framework. Don't commit anything operational yet. Just the architecture." Dante nodded and left. The office was quiet with just the two of us in it. Matthias looked at his desk. At the calls he'd made. On the map with its territorial markings.

"Actually it's a set of plans." "What do you mean?" "If plan A doesn't work out, we will work on plan B, if plan B fails, then there's plan C." "What?" I'm totally shaken to the core. "I've already called Dominic prior to this meeting, and he's going to do it."
