He took a while before answering me and he didn’t even bother to speak, he only nodded. “I have always had this feeling that things would turn to the worse soon, but… I never thought you’d be this cold,” I blurted. “Be careful how you speak to me. I’m the Alpha of this pack and you’re nothing but a hostage here!” he snapped at me and I flinched at the tone he used with me. This was his first time to do that. “From this moment, if you’re to address me, you’re to call me Alpha. Do you understand?” I only nodded. I wanted to be left alone. Trudy's voice dripped with venom as she leaned over the wolf, her eyes blazing with fury. "I know who you are, Lisa. I know the pack you belonged to, and I know where your family resides," Trudy continued, the wolf’s eyes widening in shock. With a swift motion, she retrieved a phone from her pocket and activated the loudspeaker, dialing a number that would bring forth a voice from the other end. "Alpha," the voice on the line responded. "Do it," Trudy commanded, her voice cold and unwavering. The sound of pleading and screams filled the air, followed by a series of gunshots that silenced everything.
