Silent Whispers

Silent Whispers

The soothing sound of water cascading from the fountain was inviting. I walked over to the bench and took a seat. The gentle, rhythmic sound of the water was so relaxing and soothing that I didn't notice myself drifting off to sleep. The weariness of the journey, combined with the peaceful ambiance of the garden, was too much for my tired body to resist.

Promises We Made at Seventeen

Promises We Made at Seventeen

In fact, it takes more courage to stay open in something calm than it does to survive something chaotic. Chaos distracts you from yourself. Calm introduces you to who you really are. And who I am here feels… whole. Not perfect. Not finished. But integrated. There’s a moment—small, nearly forgettable—when he says, almost to himself, “This feels like home.” The words hang between us. Not dramatic. Not claimed. Just true. I understand immediately what he means. Home isn’t where you collapse into someone else. It’s where you expand safely.

Princess Cromwell and Her Six Brothers

Princess Cromwell and Her Six Brothers

The dormant ice in the depths of his dark eyes had long since melted away, leaving only calm stillness like water. He remained silent for a moment as the clear, detached aura around him gradually retracted, turning into a faint warmth at his fingertips. His once-upright posture, like an ancient peak, lowered slightly as well. He deliberately softened his tone, his voice low and clear, like icy spring water flowing through a mountain ravine, yet wrapped in an almost imperceptible gentleness, without the slightest sharpness—only ultimate steadiness.

Fire and Ice (The alliance Book 1)

Fire and Ice (The alliance Book 1)

Cali It was like watching the dust settle after a storm in the desert, the green light seemed to dim and shower down blinking from existence where it met the ground, each grain of light causing a sprig of fresh grass to grow or a flower to bloom on the trampled battle worn terrain. It was like a touch of beauty in an otherwise desolate scene. Everything was still once again, like a battle hadn’t been waging only moments before, the trees swayed in the morning breeze, the sun broke through the clouds and a serene silence fell across the land.

you know it's really disheartening to purchase the chapters of a book and find it's not finished and has not had an update in months. I believe that as customers, we should be reimbursed if the author is no longer going to update the story and finish it. I am very disappointed.

Loving this story! Lots of twists and turns that keep you on the edge of your seat. The author did have some issues updating for a month or so, but we all have IRL issues. Glad she is back! Can’t wait to see where she will lead us next!
