Poisoned Honey Novels & Stories

Kyle asked, staring at the results from a sample of fresh honey taken from the pack's beehives near their clover field. “I don't know, but it doesn't affect the bees at all. Their honey is loaded with it! This explains everything! It explains why the entire pack isn't poisoned. Not everyone eats honey. It explains how it was building up in their system. It depends on how much honey they eat. If it's only a little here, and a little there, it'll take a while for it to build in their system, and really start taking effect.” “Did you tell your Alpha yet?”

Though he clutched her neck, she was coughing a little too much, being a wolf. Jay looks into my eyes, as clueless as I am. As we look at her again, blood rolls down her mouth, causing her to fall to the floor. “Oh my God.” “She is poisoned.” Jay ceases my wrist. “Poisoned?” “I can smell wolvesbane in her blood.” The only poison that is dangerous to wolves. We hunters use it a lot. “Let's go.” He forces me to the exit. “No, we need to ask her.” “Hailey, please.”

Lindsay quickly leafed through the stack until she found the pages that contained the results for the cultures and toxicology reports. As she started reading, she discovered that the cultures had come back with small traces of common bacteria, just as one would expect from any cut received in the Sycamore River. The surprise was in the toxicology report. What it said was not even possible. Nothing on earth contained everything that was found. The lab found traces of apitoxin, found in honey bees; latrotoxin, found in black widow spiders; tetrodotoxin, found in pufferfish and other aquatic life; and epibatidine, a lipophilic alkaloid toxin found in a group of frogs classified as poison dart f

Fortunately, neither of us experienced any rejection. On the first day back home, I received an anonymous package. Inside were a video and several photos. While Suzanne and Marcus were diving in Halona, they were ambushed the moment they came ashore. Sacks were thrown over their heads, and they vanished without a trace. When they appeared again, both of them were bound to hospital beds stained with dried blood. The person filming spoke in broken Valdorian. "Make another sound, and I'll make it worse for you when you die."

I saw her nostrils flare as she sniffed, Zoey’s bloody lips. “As l thought she was poisoned but this scent is woodsy”, Zara’s hands began to move over Zoey’s constrictive dress and roamed along her body. I could see her moving her hands over Zoey’s stomach most of the times. “She is not the one being affected by the poison , it was aconitum napellus, since she is a human , she is immune”,

“Wifey, after not meeting for two years, have you forgotten about my character?” Mable froze and instantly felt guilty. Rory continued coldly, “I hate being lied to the most. “The Necro Poison is the king of all poisons. You were fucking poisoned by that, so even a poison ten times more poisonous than Vortex wouldn’t be able to do you half the harm!” Mable’s heart sank. She was about to speak when Rory yelled grumpily, “You need the A117 reagent to detoxify Vortex? Who the fuck are you kidding?!”

I’m placed on the bed and I can feel him watching me, his fingers combing my hair off my face. Then he sighs quietly and I hear him move away. “I purchased some food from Drake’s Chicken Place. It was poisoned, get to the bottom of it for me.” His voice is icy as he speaks through the phone. I can’t hear what the other person is saying, but Zion is pacing now. “From what it looks like it does appear to be one of the Arkan’s own poisons, 2OX-Z1. I’m certain of it.”

He explained. "What is that?" I asked because I've never heard of such poison. "It a deadly poison that was bought into the country by the corrupt Daniel Hamilton that was captured two years ago by the justice team," he explained but I didn't get why he was telling stories I didn't want to hear about. "Your wife is lucky to be brought here on time because the poison reacts fast." "Is she safe?" "Not yet," my heart thump as soon as he said that. "The poison needs to be flushed from her system to prevent future complications."

Not after Killian assaulted a human. The girls and I have worked so hard. We built the bee hives. The herb garden. It took so long for the cuttings to sprout. We killed a lot before they took root. And then after we mastered growing them, there were the plagues: slugs, spider mites, whiteflies. One step forward, two steps back. Another honey vendor showed up one day, and they had dandelion honey and sourwood honey and all different types, not just clover. Then another showed up. Then every farmer had honey, and our profits hit the crapper.
