Raina could only nod her head before heading to the bathroom now armed with a tool that could change her future. She tore open the packaging and read over the instructions. After awkwardly following the instructions, she waited nervously, eyeing the wand. How could this small thing hold so much importance? She glanced down at her stomach and wondered if their child was growing in there. She sighed as she reflected on the rollercoaster ride. It wouldn’t be a surprise if she was pregnant especially with how many times they went at it. How could she not be?

“Are there any other details you can remember? Even the tiniest piece of information can be helpful.” I shook my head, then realizing she couldn’t see me, I said, “No. Nothing else that I can think of—Oh, wait. Actually, there is one more thing that probably is significant. His wand was kind of strange. It was made of a red stone, but instead of the sides being smooth, they were faceted. For a second, when I first saw it, I thought it was made of ruby…” My words hung in the air, as Vee cracked open her eyes and pinned me with an intense stare. “Not a ruby,” she said. “A faceted red diamond.”

In that case…” A trace of malice flashed across Mrs. Wisteria's face. Poppy noticed that change and thought her eyes were playing tricks on her. “Mom?” Poppy said doubtfully. Before she could say anything else, a group of men in black rushed out from the side and threw a big net over Poppy. The net was custom-made, making it difficult for Poppy to break free no matter how powerful she was.

However, I was rooted to the spot out of intense fear as the vicious figure advanced towards me at a towering height. The witch drew out a wand from inside her cloak: a nearly eight-inch long black coloured crooked stick, assumingly made out of wood with a pointed edge. It was the most powerful and enchanting object used by wizards and other magical beings in the world and, into the wrong hands, was a weapon of mass destruction. I had been enlightened about this marvellously magical object by my nurse during her bedtime stories. Ironically, I was petrified at finally viewing this object in reality while I was so awestruck to hear it about all those years ago.
