Your Honor

Your Honor

I smiled. She's pretty She's probably his girlfriend. I let the portrait down from the wall and used my fingers to explore the picture. But I was disturbed by a sharp door knock and I dropped the portrait accidentally. I tiptoed to the door and stopped to listen. After a few overbearing knocks, it stopped. I sighed and tiptoed back to start my breakfast but was startled when the door unlocked by itself and I came face to face with the lady that I had been admiring in the portrait not so long. It seemed like portraits do come true. We looked at each other in silence.

This book is great! I have only read the first 4 chapters but I can tell that the coins that I'll probably spend reading this will be worth it! I'll continue reading this for I know I'll learn a lot of things from the writer.

Inevitably His

Inevitably His

I asked reaching for my desk on which were my books with the intention of fetching the one she was after. "The Six Wives of Henry VIII; by Alison Weir" She said excitedly smiling at me. I nodded; it took me a couple of seconds to grab it I gave her the book and she thanked me before turning on her heels. I don't know what was it about her, but I didn't like her guts for some reason. I guess it was because she said being new and already befriended Lizzie By the time she was gone, I hurried to hide my piece of work, for I had finished the portrait earlier and put the last touches. I covered it with a cloth and It was ready to be submitted tomorrow.

My Fierce Lady

My Fierce Lady

Before I went to my seat, I met with our wonderful customer, Salvador Epiphora, and we talked for a while. I noticed a lady walking in, her face flushed and her eyes averted. She had a twine-thin sculpted figure. Her waist is curvilinear, and her skin is burnished. Sweeping eyelashes were framed by arched brows. Her pouting lips look seductive in that red lipstick, which was far too sexy for my libido. As she walks flawless, the colour of her eyes entices me irresistibly. It was a pleasure to see her flowing in her mercury red hair, which cascaded over her shoulders beautifully. She was dressed in vibrant clothes that appeared to be custom-made for her.

Disgraceful

Disgraceful

"It's an absolute nonsense. Why ever would a peer have some kind of relationship with a commoner like me?" "It doesn't take a genious to understand what's going on between you and him, Miss Banks. His interest in you is plain to see." "Pardon me, My Lady. I'm certain you knew that he never even glanced at me. He could never have any kind of interest in me." "Really? Then what's all this?" The lady took a leather-covered book from the commode nearby, tossing the book on the table before her. Her heart made a violent pound as she recognized the book.

Bitter–Sweet

Bitter–Sweet

I wasn't sure whose I wanted more. "Excellent choice. Those guys are legendary." She was trying to make small talk but talking wasn't my thing. Sorry. "Here, one of Walt's best art work." She handed me a book. "Song of myself." I read the title out loud while checking out the book. "Or do you prefer Leaves of grass? That one is quite nice but I prefer this one." She said. The lady was a strawberry blonde with brown eyes. She had a round baby like face and slim lips. She was pretty and looked within her early twenties.

The Lycans' Broken Luna

The Lycans' Broken Luna

She will help everyone in need. Lilly returned with what she had read, understanding one by one what was written there. "What are you reading?" Debby asked a few minutes later. Lilly looked up at her and showed Debby the book. There, there was a pencil painting of a beautiful woman, she was drawn naked, without wearing any clothes at all. But that's not what made Debby interested. Her hair, nails and even her body were depicted as if she was one with the tree. "What is this?" Debby looked at her confused.

Alpha’s Blind Mate

Alpha’s Blind Mate

“How could an ordinary, such as yourself let the skin that’s wrapped around you touch the skin of a royal such as myself?! Are you out of your mind?” The lady had two humongous beast-looking guards by her side. She was a young lady in her twenties who dressed like a dignified queen. Her accent is that I’ve never heard before. After bumping into her, I was the only one that fell. From the looks of it, it seemed like I was pushed before knocking her down. I was trying to reach for my diary when she picked it up. “What’s inside this book that got you so distracted that you couldn’t tell if I was standing before you,” the lady said as she picked my book and looked inside.

A two week vacation

A two week vacation

Giving each portrait a 2 minute gaze then continue to the next and then the next moved to the next until to an oddly familiar face. Black hair like the rare black diamond, golden eyes like the ever shinning sun and her glowing skin like the stars. It was her. The portrait of the woman in my dreams. Why haven’t I recognize her? For 18 years of looking at her portrait and yet I say I don’t know her? As questions arise, I take a glance in her name. Below her portrait it says “Louise Arman”. Since when did her name changed to Louise? I am certain this portrait is something new in my eyes. After thirty minutes of starring on the beautiful portrait of Lady Louise, I came walked down to the dining

Wolf Tales

Wolf Tales

What on earth? Pulling her attention back to the situation, she focused on the woman sitting at the table with a stack of her books, smiling and chatting and signing for the people who had come to see her. Lia studied her, memorizing each detail. She was pretty in a soft, warm way. Long, sun-streaked brown hair swept her shoulders, and a tinge of blush highlighted her creamy complexion. The red turtleneck sweater and the matching dangling earrings gave her an electric vibrancy. Lia didn't think she was a shifter - she did not pick up any connections from her - but sometimes it was hard to tell. Lia hoped against hope the resource Jamie Volka had referred to turned out to be the book. Not the

Into His Darkness

Into His Darkness

“Well, literally, the woman led astray. It’s based on Alexander Dumas’s book, La Dame aux Camelias.” I opened the strange book Roxy gave me. It was torn from several places, most of its pages were unrecognizable, it was all tattered and torn but some of its pages were still intact. From the first look of it I can tell it was more than hundred years old. Roxy handled it with care as I can clearly saw how she had tried to bind it. I flipped through the pages. I can’t understand anything as expected. After I turned to the twenty page, I saw a white page stapled with the main page of the book. my first guess was that it was Roxy’s writing.

Hello lovely people! sorry for leaving you all hanging in middle of nowhere. I seriously didn't get time in past month to update for which I am really sorry. I will try to complete the story in this book only. Please be patient with me as I am recently acquainted to college life.

I'm guessing that English isn't your first language. Maybe it would be best to hire an editor? Some of the grammar mistakes make for a confusing read. I have had to re-read quite a few lines and guess the meaning with context clues. I'm intrigued with the story so keep it coming!
