My Gangster Babysitter

My Gangster Babysitter

He nudged my shoulder. “What?” I glanced at him, grinning. “What’s so funny?” he asked, his lips tilting into a smile as well. I giggled. “This is just so nice,” I admitted. “Cooking?” I hummed a yes. “Cooking with you.” “Oh,” he placed the potatoes in a bowl, and seasoned them with oil, garlic, onion powder, salt, paprika, and pepper.

Miley
Another great book in this series. I highly recommend the entire series, including this book. I wish there were a few more chapters or an epilogue. You should definitely read book 3 before this, if not 1, 2, and 3.

Another great book by this author. I wished it had more chapters because it was so good and I didn’t want to stop reading. Glad I read the other books so I was familiar with the other characters and their roles.

Rejected by my Husband

Rejected by my Husband

This child… How did he notice everything? “I wasn’t sad,” Reid lied softly. Ethan squinted at him, lollipop in his mouth, unconvinced. “Mommy says lying is bad.” Reid coughed. “…Right.” Ethan leaned closer, whispering like he was telling a great secret. “You looked like this yesterday..” He scrunched up his face dramatically, lips flattened, eyebrows drooping. “Like a potato that fell down.” Reid choked. “A… a potato?” Ethan nodded seriously. “Yes. A sad potato.”

Pregnant from the man I hate - A Billionaire Romance

Pregnant from the man I hate - A Billionaire Romance

Curtains swaying gently in the breeze. And right there in the middle of the floor— Potatoes. Everywhere. Silence. Noah blinked. “…What?” Then came an indignant *meow* from atop the fridge. Everyone turned around at once. The neighbor’s cat was sitting there. Very fat. Very satisfied. And apparently responsible for the entire potato catastrophe. For a few seconds, no one said a word. Then Noah slowly lowered the baseball bat. “We were terrorized by a potato cat.” The cat meowed aggressively.

The Man I Swore to Hate

The Man I Swore to Hate

Rosetta cleaned the attic one weekend and came down with a box full of forgotten things. “There’s so many pictures,” she said, spreading them out on the floor. “Did you know Papa had this?” It was a drawing I made of him years ago. A silly little sketch of him in his farmer’s hat, holding a shovel like a sword. It was folded neatly behind a receipt from a store. The ink was faded, but my signature was still there in the corner.

Getting my ex-wife back

Getting my ex-wife back

Initially, she had no idea that those were potatoes as she thought that they were turnips. However, it did not matter what it was called. What mattered the most was how good it tasted. The previous day, Deanna tried to make a dish using the two potatoes she had harvested. The old lady downstairs was kind enough to give her some mustard. With a dip of the sauce, the fried potatoes tasted amazing. After putting the potatoes in the basket, Deanna stood up and looked at Jacky. Jacky frowned. She was such a fool! Earlier that day, Jacky went out and had left her alone in the house. There was even a car parked outside. The hut was located next to a wide road. She did not escape but sat in the hut

The Billionaire & His Maid

The Billionaire & His Maid

“Yes! Can I draw too?” “Of course,” Olivia said, handing her some paper and crayons. “Write or draw whatever you think will make him smile.” Eunice sat down at the kitchen table, her tongue poking out in concentration as she began to draw. Olivia watched her for a moment before returning to the gravy, carefully seasoning it with salt and pepper. She glanced at Eunice’s work and saw a colourful sketch of a tall man with dark hair standing next to a small girl holding hands. In the background, a smiling woman stood near what appeared to be a giant bowl of mashed potatoes.

Working for the Twin Mafia Dons

Working for the Twin Mafia Dons

"What'cha making?" Annie's eyes light up with joy as she looks down at our daughter. "We are making potao salad. You take the eggs, boil them and cut them up, then do the same with the potaos. Then when it's all cooled off in the fridge for a good fifteen minutes or so, you add some mayo, chopped up dill pickles, and mustard." She looks at the mayo mixture she just finished putting together and takes a spoon full, letting Lilly taste it. "What do you think of the dressing for the potato salad?" Lilly smiles as she licks the spoon clean. "I absolutely love it. Momma said the baby is making her puky... She also said she needs to eat to make it stop." She looks at me. "When will food be done?"

Between man and Wolf

Between man and Wolf

I wonder how much it would weigh to plant such a giant pile. To concentrate on Lowa! See, we've made a section for everyone, young and old. Dulcie looked enjoying herself as she ate her potato stew. Children are not interested in eating things related to potatoes. One kid said, “I'd rather eat broccoli than potatoes!” He handed the plate to the woman, the boy's mother. The other parent looked annoyed, not hiding. “What? Shit, no food? Where do you think we are?” … After all, the boy also agreed to eat.

Not My Type Of Guy

Not My Type Of Guy

"It's missing both ears." I watch as he picks up the stick this time and makes on the sand, two medium sized 'c's on both sides of the drawing. We both tilt our heads to the left at the same time and stare at the drawing on the sand. One of the eyes are way bigger than the other and the nose seems to be falling out of proportion, the shape of the head looks like that of an amoeba while the ears he just drew isn't fully connected to the face. "I think it's phenomenal," He says.

Something Gained.

Something Gained.

He was trying to assess me. "Mommy?" I returned my attention back to Ava who was now tugging at my hand. "Yes, sweetie?" I bent down to adjust the height difference. "I was drawing this but it looks like a potato." She brought forward her sketchbook and from my guess she was trying to draw someone's face. "Will you help me?" I couldn't help but smile at the cute pouty expression she had on her face. I definitely wanted to spend some time with her but it would have to wait for now.
