I took out the fork and put it in my mouth with the whole potato on it then proceeded to hold the edges of the pot so I could dip it in the sink and drain the water out. "You should probably use a sieve," Sister mentioned, but I shrugged her off. "I'm starving. I can't wait," was my reply as I shuffled the hot potato in my mouth. The moment I tipped the pot over from the burner head, it happened all too fast. The fork first fell out of my mouth, stabbing into my feet, then the cover of the pot slid off, dancing into the sink and the star of the show, the hot boiling potato water poured over my hand and onto the sink.

Vera said, unwrapping one of the potatoes. Steam rose from it, thick and warm, filling the shack with a smell so simple and impossible that every person in the room stopped moving. It smelled like hot earth, fire, salt, and comfort. The potato skin was slightly crisp, split open where the heat had broken it, and the inside was soft, golden, and fluffy enough that it almost fell apart when Vera pressed her thumb into it. After years of liquid packs, bitter supplements, recycled water, and food that tasted more like survival than life, that smell hit the room harder than any speech could have.

My eyes filled with tears, I was lost of words, so I simply nodded my head at him. “Let's eat,” he smiled at me. True to his words, he devoured every potato on his plate. “But you're a werewolf West, how is it that your favourite potato? Shouldn't it be steak or some type of meat like that?” I asked him, he gave me one of those dashing smiles that got to his eyes.

Annoying! "Anything else you want?" the man asks with a gentle gaze. The pink-haired figure in front of him is eating heartily, especially the fries. Two servings have vanished into her stomach, and her chewing doesn't seem to stop as she digs into the third. Despite being different types, the main ingredient remains potatoes.

Hmm, here she is again with her new hobby. "Uh-huh. Yeah, so... When should we start working on it?" I asked her as I planted a quick kiss on her cheek, and she turned her head to me with her thinking face. "We will go and find the perfect trees that we could take down, later after lunch. But... You might want to work on this potato. Peel it and pass it back to me if you are done with it. Here." She answered and ordered me while handing me the knife that she grabbed together with the potato. I sighed "I’m no longer hungry." "I know but please let me cook something for you, even if it’s just an omelet." "I’m not really into omelets." "Then I will make potato balls." He suggested "Potato balls?" I questioned "Yeah, potatoes are good for the health, the skin too." "Potato balls" I cleared "Yeah, that’s not a good idea." He chuckled I smiled turning to leave but before I could he clutched my hand, his touch gave me a 'shock' which made me instantly draw my hand away from his.

Ok, it was a little big, but if I can take Leo’s dick, I sure can take a tiny potato. I could see he was trying not to smile. "Sure, I’d really like that." It's not too heavy. When she brings it to her chest level, it becomes heavier. She places it back down. “I couldn’t hold that for long.” She stirs her veggies and sees they are about done, and her potatoes are now soft. She takes them out of the water and starts to mash and add seasonings and milk to them.

I started saying as I prepped the last loaf pan. “Green beans, your favorite.” James finishes as he shows Nathan the big bowel of them, that he was working on. Just like we knew he scrunched up his nose and stared hard at James. “Grandpa I’ll help with the potatoes!” he simply states as he got down and walked around me to get our last bag of potatoes. Laughing as I watched this scrawny 6-year-old drag the potatoes to his spot. Reaching down I grabbed him with one hand and the other the bag of potatoes and easily fixed him and them at the end of the table. Jack after washing his hands helped with washing and peeling them.

I stood at the stove. The potatoes I was frying up were turning a delicious golden brown as I flipped the cubed pieces around. We were opening a little late today and it gave us the rare opportunity to eat together. Since, it was my turn to cook, I decided on a simple Cubano sandwich with potatoes. Solaris had made horchata earlier so that would be added as well. The plates were already set out on the bar counter and I was finishing up then potatoes before doing a final assembly of the sandwiches.
