I mopped off the sweat that had covered my brows. Today was a different one. I had flashes of things I couldn't understand. Sometimes when I look at the vanity mirror, I see a blurry image, very unclear. I try to refocus, to see the image properly, but I always ended up with a splitting head that makes me feel like ripping off my head.

However, hearing him say that I do have a chance made my heart beat faster in my chest. "I can see again?" I slowly asked, still processing his last statement. "Yes," he said. "It has been seen here that there is a problem with the neurons in your occipital region, probably due to trauma. And your eyes also seem to be covered by a cloudy film, which contributes to your visual impairment. If this was a few years back, we wouldn't have had the solution to your problem. However, now that new technology has been developed, we can cure your blindness through transducer electrical therapy and eye surgery. It is quite expensive, though."

“Everything is going blurry.” I woke up in the medical room with my vision fading fast. Colors ran together. Shapes lost their edges. The soul friction inside my head had taken another piece of me. I blinked hard but it only made things worse. Rhydian sat beside the bed. His face was the clearest thing I could see. “Soren, you are awake. The healers stabilized your lungs but there are new problems.” Mira Kane stood on the other side of the bed. Her voice sounded heavy. “The friction between the souls is worsening. Your eyesight is one of the side effects. The two essences are grinding against each other.”

He closed his eyes and opened them again before saying, "what is going on, why is my vision blurry?" The doctor looked briefly looked at the door and saw one of Tanya's feet. He smiled and said, "I'm sorry Mr. Tanner but this is the result of not listening to me. I told you before that your stress level is too high. You refused when I tried to place you on bed rest and insisted that you will rest at home but what happened? You kept going to work and straining your eyes despite my warnings, as if that is not bad enough, you decided to drink into a stupor. Mr. Tanner, are you tired of living? Do you want to die? Is that why you are not heeding my words?"

With my blurred vision, I saw him walking toward me. "Stop, don't come near me," I said as he was about to come close to me. I made him stop a foot away from me, not wanting to get near to him anymore. "What happened? Why are you saying that?" he asked in his same concerned and worried voice. The old me would have believed the concerned bad worry lace in his voice was genuine but now I know nothing is true about his behaviour. He has been acting with me from the very start. "Because now everything is clear," I said in my stern voice as I looked straight into his eyes with my blurry vision. My heart ached as I said those words. More warm tears slipped from my eyes. His light brown eyes fogged

I took a bottle of water out of Blake's mini refrigerator and sat at my desk. I still had some data that I needed to enter into the system. I began documenting the data and opened my water, taking a sip. My vision started to get blurry while I was working. Thinking it might be because I was staring at the computer, I rubbed my eyes and closed them, trying to clear my vision that was becoming blurry. When I opened my eyes again, my vision was still blurry, and the room began to spin. The door opened and I looked over at the door and saw a blurry Blake. I could see that he was saying something to me, but I couldn't make it out.

Connor asked, his voice barely holding steady. “For now, the vision issues have to be addressed immediately,” the doctor said. “The strain on his optic nerves is causing the blurred and double vision you described.” He turned to me. “So, Ethan, you’re going to need glasses. Permanently for now. They’ll relieve some of the pressure the brain is compensating for.” I nodded slowly. Glasses. Fine. I could deal with that. “But that doesn’t solve the underlying issue,” my mom said, her voice trembling.

“Yeah, it has worsened lately. I think it’s my fault though. I’ve been avoiding my glasses a lot and it makes me strain my eyes.” I rubbed my itchy eyes once more but I stopped when the doctor sent me a look that would have had a child crying. “Do things get blurry at all?” “Yeah. I can’t see too far of a few feet in front of me.” The doctor gave me a new prescription. At this point, I could be considered blind because the lenses were so thick they could pass for flat mugs.

I just have to rest and then i will be fine. But suddenly my vision bacame blurry and my steps wobbled. And then i lost my balance due to unclear vision and dizziness. I was about to fall but then a strong arms saved me from falling. I tried to see the person who saved me falling but due to my blurry vision i can't see anything. After lot of struggling my vision got little bit clear and i was met with a pair concern blue eyes. I instantly knew who he was but the question is what is he doing here???
