Sometimes I think my alarm clock is jealous of the relationship I have with my bed. I slowly got off my bed and sauntered into the bathroom. Kyle was a heavy sleeper, so he would not hear me. After I had a shower, I got dressed. My outfit consisted of black skinny jeans, a grey singlet over a black tank top, a black leather jacket and my black combat boots. When I finished, I grabbed my flash-drive and the other things that I would need for my prank. I grabbed my keys and snuck out. When I go to the hallway, I did a front flip and slowly stood up.

I was on edge, like a coiled spring waiting to snap. In the end, I didn't sleep at all that night. I lay in bed, staring up at the ceiling, my mind racing with all the different scenarios that could be playing out. Maybe it was just a prank, maybe it was something more sinister. I didn't know, and that uncertainty was almost worse than the unease itself.

He pulled me close and I fell asleep. I woke up early even though I slept pretty late last night. Primo was still asleep and I tried to get out of bed without waking him up but he was such a light sleeper. The moment I tried to slide off of the bed, he grabbed my waist and pulled me back. “Where are you going?” I giggled. “I’ll be making breakfast so if you don’t want to help me, you can just let me go.” I tried to squirm free but his grip on me was tight. “But I don’t want to let you go.” I looked at him. His voice sounded so serious I had to check his facial expression to tell if he was joking or not. He was smiling at me and I knew he was joking.

Eyes dart to the floor to be on the safe side. “That’s creepy.” “Yeah, well, so is drooling in your sleep, but I don’t judge you for it.” I catch a smile from the corner of my eye as he returns to a playful mood quickly, and I can’t stop the grin that explodes across my face. “Says the sleep talker.” I poke him in the chest in a bid to kill the weirdness. “I sleep talk, but you full-on sleepwalk, and sometimes you snore.” He nudges me with his foot this time, childish tactics, and I retaliate, so it becomes a game of footsy between us.

It’s pissing me off. Even they already see me, they continue making a noise as if it is already new year, booing the bad spirit. Have they not seen I am sleeping? Hey people I want to sleep! Then did you know… It is more preferable to make a joke with a drunk ... but never with someone who has just woken up. But it seems they intentionally to wake me! I have woken already on the wrong side of the bed! “Hey! Do you use your mouth picking up those papers?” I am still trying to resist myself. I really don’t want to wake up yet but this make me really annoyed! Respect dear people! Respect!
