The Ancient Battle

The Ancient Battle

They both forgot they were in the open and before a mighty army. Dodo had been laid to waste and the dragon had had his fill of blood, now moving about the compound of the palace, putting fear in the hearts of the remaining soldiers who in their thousands were facing the ground in surrender. That night was the bloodiest of all the battles the King of Dodo and his men had ever fought. Akiza's mother was now focusing her gaze on the Prophetess of Dodo.

Clash of the Battle Valley Empires

Clash of the Battle Valley Empires

They were silenced before they could even make a sound, their lives extinguished in a single violent moment. Vivienne saw bodies drenched in blood that sprayed across the battlefield every time a limb was being ripped off. She saw a great number of limbs torn from bodies, saw heads crushed beneath brutal force, saw warriors, some shaped like men, others not, falling, rising and fighting again in endless cycles of destruction. Swords clashed again and again, their ringing cutting through the air. The sound was deafening, a chaotic symphony of agony, rage, and death.

Moonlight Knows My Name

Moonlight Knows My Name

I pulled out another ledger, older but this time, the ink had faded but the margins were still full of notes, scribbled by hands long dead. I dragged a crate closer and began stacking books around me, my lamp throwing long shadows against the walls, my irritation grew as realization crept in…the ancient wars, definitely not the ones told in stories, not the heroic nonsense sung at solstice fires. The wars before alliances, the ones before the treatie we know today, before they began to force morality as law Wars where survival demanded the type of sacrifices no one wanted to remember, I found the first reference buried in brittle parchment, it’s seal broken….Containment Protocol, Phase One

The Battle of Bloodlines

The Battle of Bloodlines

Suddenly I felt like I woke up from a long, deep, dark sleep, I opened my eyes slowly, I could see Elvin sitting close to me, he wasn’t looking at me but his hand was still holding my cold hands, I could see him from the corner of my eyes. My body was still store and it was cold, I felt like I was freezing, my legs were freezing but head was burning at the same time, I felt this excruciating pain in my mouth, I was in so much pain it was killing me, I knew this was inevitable, I knew this was supposed to happen sooner or later and that was the reason I came prepared today in this Battle.

ALPHA'S DARKEST SECRET: Rise Of The Ultima

ALPHA'S DARKEST SECRET: Rise Of The Ultima

If I’m going to survive the Blood Reckoning, I need to find something—anything that can help me. The library is wide, with ancient knowledge on towering shelves, yet it feels eerily empty as I step inside. I move past the neatly arranged scrolls and thick leather-bound volumes, searching for anything related to past Blood Reckonings. It takes time, but soon, I find a collection of books detailing the brutal history of the event. I flip through the pages, reading about past warriors who fought and either triumphed or perished. The descriptions are vivid; some victories won through sheer power, others through strategy. But one passage catches my eye.

Her Revenge: The Almost Lost Battle

Her Revenge: The Almost Lost Battle

I looked at the woman standing right in front of me and nodded. “Are you okay?” My new wife asked. We moved to a part of the pack, men had already dug up the earth and waited on me to perform rituals I should perform for the dead before they are buried. I took the incense burner and did the usual. It was a long time ago when I did this last: we hardly lost a wolf in the pack since the war from many years ago, and the death of Aella's Father two years ago. Our pack was the most peaceful, literally.

Alpha's Fallen Royal

Alpha's Fallen Royal

It's hard for me to read this kind of book as I always tend to think about it like it happened in real life…Even though I don't want to think about it, my heart just can't… Ha… After I finished reading that book, I moved on to reading another book but this time it's about the history of this place. The book is quite old and it's strange because the material isn't paper but a cloth. I scanned it first before I read it thoroughly. I got engrossed in reading because everything in this book is interesting. "War really happened before…" There's a record about how werewolves fought for their place like challenging the alpha but it's more intense because their way before is much more aggressive. Th

Curse of the Wolves

Curse of the Wolves

“We knew she was aiding our people during the war, but we didn’t know she was slipping into the mortal realm. We didn’t know she was directly affecting history.” I wracked my brain, sorting through every history lesson I’d ever endured as a young pup. There was one battle that stuck out in my mind. It was one of the first our kind had ever participated in, and was the only one that had anything to do with castles, kings, and armored knights seeking glory. “You’re talking about the Hunters war. That…” I pinched my lips together to keep my jaw from dropping. “That was two thousand years ago. You three were alive for that?”

Absolutely love this book, couldn't put it down. I've honestly read it more than once haha. Any chance I can buy it in paperback? This is a great book, give it a chance you won't be disappointed. Love the characters, love the book, love it!

I love this story so much that I kept reading, not realizing it was already four in the morning, and I had to wake up to take my kids to school at 7. every story by this author is beautifully written and addictive, but I love the humor and the strong female character in this story the most.

Eidolon Ave: The Second Feast

Eidolon Ave: The Second Feast

Each wooden ledge branded with a faded, handwritten label proclaiming— HISTORY. World War I. World War II. Forgotten battles in faraway places she’d vaguely heard of. The patriarchal pissing contest that stained our collective yesterdays recounted, retold, revisited in page after ponderous page. Heavy tomes groaning with the weight of mistakes made and hearts broken. Hopes dashed and success stolen. Forgotten lives buckling under the burden of dreams lost. She strolled, her eyes scanning the large letters embossed on covers puckered and creased. The dog-eared corners of aged paper discovered when the book was lifted, turned, opened.
