All eyes shifted to him.
Stephan adjusted his glasses, calm as ever.
“I think,” he said evenly, “that no credible documentation has ever supported the existence of shapeshifting animals. History is built on what we can prove, not what we imagine. So no, Malik, it’s not possible they existed.”
A few chuckles rippled through the group. Malik’s shoulders slumped.
But then Stephan’s mouth curved faintly, just enough to shift the mood.
“Besides, if shape-shifters were real, wouldn’t they have shown themselves by now?” he smirked, “Imagine them sitting quietly in my classroom, pretending to study history.”
