The Alpha and The Outcast

The Alpha and The Outcast

Lily asked. She lowered her head as she recalled the tragic incident. “Yes,” her voice grew heavier as she continued, "I remember that day vividly. It was during the daytime, when the traitors attacked the alpha and his wife. They were attending the inauguration of Greta's father as the mayor of Nashville. Most of the pack members were present, mingling with the normal humans, unaware of the impending danger. No one could have predicted that they would be ambushed with rifles."

Owned By The Don

The first explosion shattered the night at 2:13 a.m. The sound rolled across the city like thunder with teeth, deep, splitting, hungry. From the Morreau penthouse, the windows trembled. Raven jerked upright in bed before she was even awake, instincts snapping faster than thought. The other side of the bed was cold. “Jaxon?” Her voice cut the dark. There was no response, only the low hum of security systems and the whisper of wind through glass. The city beyond glittered with its usual indifference, until the second blast bloomed across the eastern docks, red and furious against the horizon.

“Just a few minutes ago Midtown West is in chaos.” The newscaster was saying, “27 armed men showed up out of nowhere and started attacking the people, causing havoc and killing a total of 57 civilians. As of the moment, New York City Mayor and the New York City Police Commissionaire are having an emergency conference after putting Midtown West in code red. It was heavily assumed that this is a ter—“ Teddy shut the television off and carelessly threw the remote. He slumped on his chair and stares at his wolves.

Damned Straight to Heaven

Damned Straight to Heaven

Streets are empty at this time of the morning, coppers all sound asleep or else busy at the station, dealing with the Bertinelli booking. No lights are on in these windows… But what the fuck is with all the overturned trash cans? I change directions for a closer look at the creature sprawled out behind that mess of trash – raccoon. It ain’t rummaging, ain’t even frozen playing possum. Thing’s already dead, neck hanging at an unnatural angle with deep claw marks on its chest. Though there’s surprisingly little blood coming out of the wounds…

Night Gaze The Redemption of Joker

Night Gaze The Redemption of Joker

“No prob.” Gordon finally made it to the place Tony told him to meet. He saw a squirrely Looking man standing in front of the diner. He guessed this had to be Salone. Gordon got out to talk to him. The man recognized him and started heading over. That's when an unmarked car came swerving around the corner and it hit him. Tony flew up in the air and came down with a thud. He was badly hurt. Gordon rushed over to assist him. He was gasping. One of his ribs had punctured his lung and blood was pooling inside. “Detective … Gordon… I don't have long. So, listen. Ricky is going to bomb six places in the city on the day of his….”

This is by far and beyond the best book I've read in a long time! It kept me so engaged that I had a lot of sleepless nights and I had to force myself to put it down. If it was in book form, I would buy it in a heartbeat! Thank you Hugh White for writing and publishing this book. it's the story of a

Worth the read, well written and has a decent plot. The characters generally have a lot of depth, although one or two have been a little strange, maybe written that way on purpose. The FMC sometimes feels a little too cold, and vengeful, but again part of her character... I will continue reading!

System Of Blood: To Crave Survival

System Of Blood: To Crave Survival

By dawn, three hundred people were dead. Most were just bystanders—civilians caught between angry crowds and House security. A handful were Hunters sent in to contain the anomalies, which kept breaking out in riot zones like an infection nobody could stop. Some protesters died when anomalies appeared right in the middle of the chaos, drawn in by all that concentrated Intent, like sharks sniffing blood. The Houses clamped down with martial law.

Pregnant For The Cursed Alpha

Pregnant For The Cursed Alpha

It's about the recent attacks and something else you don't know of. "Something else?" I asked facing Rico and he nodded. "We have been having recent cases of people getting very sick without any previous ailments." Inside the room, Dr. Niel showed us a large screen displaying surveillance footage from various locations in the city. The images were horrifying. They were scenes of chaos, panic, and people collapsing on the streets. The scenes reminded me of the aftermath of the attacks on the dead bodies we found before. "What's happening here?" I asked, my voice tinged with concern and pain.

THE PRICE OF A BILLIONAIRE’S LOVE

THE PRICE OF A BILLIONAIRE’S LOVE

The city didn’t sleep that night. Neither did Aria. By dawn, three unrelated incidents dominated the news cycle—an unexplained warehouse fire near the docks, a high-speed collision involving an unregistered vehicle, and a sudden blackout across a financial district that lasted exactly eleven minutes. Each event was dismissed as coincidence. Together, they formed a message. “They’re stress-testing boundaries,” Ethan said, his voice low over the secure channel. “Seeing how much disruption they can cause without drawing a response.”

I'm No Heroine

I'm No Heroine

“So the rats’ been out of the shadows huh. I bet the smugglers and dealers are now running off from them.” “They were.” Suddenly, Iris’ phone on her pocket felt heavy. The Chief’s been calling her nonstop for the sudden rain of cases on her way to the hospital. Several homicides painted the city red, and the distant sirens from everywhere instilled fear to everyone. Every radio station on her car spoke of deaths of men that were brutally killed with rat stamps on their forehead. “They’re dead. Most of them. That’s what happens if they chicken out and tried to run. The Nightcrawlers are all fucked up.”
