Rainy Birthday Novels & Stories

Everything was just so painful to me that I was losing control of my emotions. I didn’t even realize that Raphael was already at our side, holding an umbrella to invite us to his car. My eyebrows furrowed at him. "I told you, we’re not going in your car." "Don’t be stubborn, and just get in. The rain won’t stop any time now, and don’t you still need to celebrate your mom’s birthday for the rest of the night?" I glanced at my mom. She let out a brief smile while I finally noticed how she was shivering as the cold air passed by us. It’s her birthday, I can’t possibly make her suffer any longer than she already has, right?

RAINE’S POV I woke up to the scent of something sweet and the sound of someone humming off-key in the kitchen. For a second, I forgot it was my birthday. Then I stretched, glanced at the clock, and smiled. Twenty-one. I was officially Legal-Legal. This felt so surreal. My phone buzzed at that moment, and Cyril’s name floated across my screen. Butterflies stirred in my tummy as I slipped to answer, a stupid smile on my face.

✧FAITH ZEICAN LEE✧ I WOKE up with the faint sound of rain tapping against the windowpane. My eyes flicked at the clock: 2:00 AM. It’s still raining now. It started last night while we were celebrating Poppy’s early birthday party. I can hear the wind whistling through my closed window because it’s a bit strong outside. So far, even with the storm, her birthday has been super fun. Even without a karaoke machine, we managed to have a singing session using the Smart TV and the internet. Hope set up the mic, and he and Uncle Ryan took the lead, having a singing showdown.

Maybe, this is can be refrence for nex birthday😀😀🤗🤗🤗🤗 Thank you for reading🤗🤗🤗

“Word on the road you're the birthday girl Don't be sad on your birthday, girl Sittin' in the club like you didn't wanna come So I send a couple of bottles to the birthday girl Ay, you're the birthday girl Do what you like, you're the birthday girl Them girls watch face, but yea, it's all bait That them chicks will hate on the birthday girl You're the birthday girl, you're the birthday girl You're the birthday girl, you're the birthday girl You're the birthday girl, you're the birthday girl You're the birthday girl, you're the birthday girl…” Thanks, babe! " Sunny hugged him tightly. "But how come you didn't tell me about it?" She glared at her friend. "It was a surprise, babe," a surprise.

“Don’t wear too much on my birthday, please? It doesn’t mean that Edrick is coming, you’re going to showcase your fantastic wardrobe” “I always wear casual clothes so don’t worry” her eyes widened as she heard what I spoke. “Really? Is that casual for you?” and I nodded at her as a sign of my answer. “What is the plan for your birthday?” I asked her and she began thinking. “We’re going to celebrate it at our house since we can’t book a resort due to rainy weather this past few days.” She responded. “That’s great. Let’s have a slumber party!” “You’re not going to sleep again?”

Damn me for not thinking harder about my wardrobe choices. I wasn’t planning on being out this late, eighteenth birthday or not. I’m dressed for a quick coffee on a cloudy afternoon, not for clubbing through a stormy evening – leggings and a strappy cami under a fluffy teal cardigan that holds more rain than it keeps out. This stupid scenario is all Kelly Anne’s fault, insisting it wouldn’t be a proper birthday celebration unless it involved getting trashed in some sleazy club in the backstreets of Brighton. We’ll have a great time, she said, just a bus ride and a couple of drinks, she said. Who knows, you may even meet someone hot and finally ditch the V card, she said.

~CODY~ It was a celebration and it was all for Rain. It was his birthday and he was smiling and everyone was there, gathered in a joyous celebration. The atmosphere crackled with excitement, an energy that surged through the air. Everyone including those from school had gathered around to wish Rain a happy birthday and I couldn’t be happier.

Romaine almost forgot that it’s her birthday today if not for Cyrill and Rozelyn’s surprise beach party. Though she’s not really a sea-lover person, this is enough anyway. It is not the celebration that is important to her. It is the people around her; the very people who had made this celebration possible. And most of all, she is grateful that she reached her forty-first birthday amidst all of those bloody attacks and unprecedented happenings. “Happy birthday, stepmom,” greeted Rozelyn, the one holding her birthday cake.

I said as we get inside the car. Luke laugh and shake his head. “No, your mom is going to kill me.” He corrected and we both laugh as he started driving… I didn’t know that it’s fun sneaking out on your own birthday. When he’s driving and I watch as he pass by houses and buildings I can’t help but wanting to go down and enjoy the rain… I sudden;y want to become spontaneous, and I only live once... plus it’s my birthday. I flash a smirk on my face. “I want to enjoy the rain.” I suddenly said that made Luke looks at me. “there. Let’s go there.” I said pointing at the empty payground near our village.
