It’s like there’s a ticking time bomb inside my head. Rachel’s black hair is scraped back into a high ponytail. She has the most haunting green eyes. They are so pale they almost look white. My lips curl into a forced smile, and she greets me with one, too—she seems kind, but I’m not feeling kind. Maxwell’s hand presses to the small of my back encouragingly. “Come on. You’ve got this,” he whispers in my ear and then his attention is turned towards another pair. “Hey! None of that. If you want to fight, do it outside of my damn territory.”

he asks me, looking at my mouth with his malicious intent. “Put any part of your body in my mouth, and I will bite it off,” I snarl, making his eyes snap back to mine. It’s not unexpected, but the sting of his backhand is still sharp, and the power of the hit sends me to the floor. I see Cathal move at the window and I quickly send him a hand signal that means stay.

I don’t wait for Orion to recover from the shock of his beloved wife betraying him. “Traitors” The council hall which had burst into a buzz of whispers after Arizona stepped forward became deathly silent. Orion’s gaze has returned to me. “Imoge—” CRACK! The chair hits the wall with a deafening crack, the wood exploding on impact—sharp shards hitting the floor with an echo that reverbreted through the chamber. “You will address me as Supreme Alpha! Or I will rip your head from your shoulders!!” I growl, my wolf fangs coming out.

Cinthye immediately recognized the marks she had seen in the old photographs hanged in the Cator estate during her childhood that probably burned with it in the wild fire.

“I will, don’t worry.” I watched him so excited as he chose three very appropriate games and then picked up, Call of Duty. I waited for Jason’s response. Thomas said, “I can’t decide between these,” and held them up to Jason. “You can have them all, except that one,” pointing to, Call of Duty. Thomas said, “Oh my God, I can’t believe I get to have all of these!” As we pulled up to the house, Cassy was sound asleep. I carried her in and set her in her crib as Jason and Thomas gathered all of our bags.

Lars dropped down, equipped his Celestial Calibur and pointed his sword forward. "Come on out." Lars' voice echoed across the alleyway. A snarl replied back. It was from a large silver rat that was way larger than it supposed to be. Its long tail lashed out and the end of it bloomed into a crown of sharp teeth. Lars took a second to be disgusted and then quickly charged forth. The rat Chimera dodged by leaping upwards. It climbed across the building as its tail snapped about behind it. Lars stretched out his hand and blasted off a burning ball of light. The blast singed on the rat's body and it screeched loudly.

Only now the roles were reversed. 'Fuck! Cheetah's curses are finally ready to bite me in the ass!'

His sleeve rides up, revealing the edge of a mantis tattoo. “-Fuck”

"Take me instead of him. I'll do anything you say. Just leave him. Please I beg just take me and leave him and I'll do anything you ask me to. Please." She could hear more screaming but she still kept her eyes on the boss as he seemed to contemplate her words. From her peripheral vision, she saw her mother clutching the boss's legs as he nodded to the man holding her brother to let go. Her brother ran towards her. But before he could reach her, one of the men standing closer to her pushed her brother and grabbed hold of her. Her mother began to sound hysterical now and let go of his legs to reach her. She grabbed her hands but Eloisa could not feel any warmth as if she was numb to everything

What ever it is, the think hiding in it just blinked." Chance stood there eating his snack, listening as Kristoff's panic kicked in more. There was a scream and a crashing sound as whatever animal ran towards Kristoff. The animal made a growling sound, and that's when Chance flung the door open, only to see a racoon sniffing at a screaming Kristoff.
